Ran-dawg
They said that he only had 65 yds in the playoff game with no TDs Saying we should of not have given him starter money. I don't think you can judge a players great body of work(5.5 yds/carry) off of one playoff game where Rivers was playing hurt so a great defense(New England)was putting 8 and 9 in the box the entire game. It's kind of amazing that this is getting so much controversy. It goes from one side of the spectum to the other.

thaflameofatlanta
Dude, it's ESPN. Even though it's the Stews, it's still ESPN. All they've done as of late is call every move this team pulls off as foolish for no other reason than just to say it.
Serge Storms
He's unproven for the most part, for better or worse. If we don't improve the offensive line as it is right now, I'm not expecting more than 3 1/2 YPC when he has to play fresh defenses.
falconva7
Richard Nixon (3/3/2008)He's unproven for the most part, for better or worse. If we don't improve the offensive line as it is right now, I'm not expecting more than 3 1/2 YPC when he has to play fresh defenses.Exactly. Another thing is that when you watch a lot of his highlights, yes he outruns people, but I don't really see any clips of him running over people. Usually he'll drag someone for a yard or two but that's about it. I know he's a small powerful back a la Maurice Jones-Drew, but I don't think he's the power back some people are lauding him to be... Serge Storms
How many backs actually run over people on a consistent basis? The ability to kill defensive backs in the open field is vastly overrated.
falconfanatic365
If you've ever spent much time listening to the 2 live stooges you'd understand that they have no business in sports. It's all random ranting, loud and wrong. They get rated high I guess because they are energetic but they constantly say dumb things and give uneducated opinions. They will watch one game and judge a career like they know everything. They obviously have no place in football. I'd rather have someone knowledgeable than someone who jabbers on about things that are simply wrong just to hear there own voices. I turn the station if they come on. I don't want to give them my ratings.
FalconFan13
If they are knocking Turner for only going 17 for 65 against NE. Then they really gotta be disappointed with LT only doing 18 for 43 against NE last year.
Statick
Those two dudes are the equivalent of two dogs barking wildly, meaning they'll bark at anything, good or bad. From what little that I've heard from The Stews, they have never impressed me with their limited sports knowledge. They're not too bright. SINIK4L
Richard Nixon (3/3/2008)He's unproven for the most partThats what they kept saying that I didn't get. They were making a case for McFadden who has never played a down in the NFL and who would probably have to be paid a lot more money... but the Turner signing was bad because he is pretty much unproven. michaelgee
just one more reason that I don't listen to the "2 Live Screws"It is pretty obvious that the Screws are pushing their hip hop gangsta bada@@ wannabe image, that much is so obvious, that is their identity. This organization just took a huge hit for millions of dollars as a result of MV7's hip hop gangsta bad a@@ wanna-be ******** antics.I predict that the 2 Live Screws will lose much of their audience as they bash the New Falcons, the Screws are living in the past. The Screws are failing to recognize change, even when it is right before their eyes. Did you think these were dedicated football guys? The Dimitroff/Smith era is fully underway, I don't think they care if the Screws are happy, unhappy or whatever, these dudes are putting together a winning team, the Screws can't see the obvious can they? The Scews are about to be old news in ATL. I listened to them at one time but I moved on since they are unable to give the new regime any cred at all. This is America, they get to make their choice and so do I.I choose not to listen to their garbage talk. Just change the channel and they are gone. Roughly 5.5 mil a yearMcFadden - 5 yrs 45 mil 25 guaranteed Roughly 9 mil a yearHow do i know McFadden will make that. Because Joe Thomas #3 overall pick last year got 5 yrs 43 mil 23 guaranteed. cap went up so the rookie pool pay went up. He will get a 3 to 5% raise over the #3 last year. Im sorry but i don't like paying almost 10 mil a year on the RB position. Thats for QB's O-lineman or D-lineman to me. The main 3 positions that win you games. swanlee
Pretty stupid for them as signing Turner has allowed us to do what ever we want with our 3rd pick INCLUDING DRAFTING AN O-LINEMEN.I think people are funny they keep saying well Turner is going to fail unless we upgrade our o-line. Well no s*** sherlock, we just free'd up a draft pick so we can do that very thing. There is no indications that we are NOT going to upgrade our o-line this year. The FO has already targeted O-linemen in FA and have already spoken sever times that the O-line is a priority.
michaelgee
the offensive sig reply was aimed at statick's undressing woman.why do replies often attach to the wrong posts?I've seen this a lot lately, you do a quoted reply and it quotes some message you didn't reply to, like this one did. HoodRulezApply
I don't care what they say. I am confident in Turner because I have seen what Turner can do when backing up LT. Once we get that O-line straight, he'll prove the point!
aerosmith67
These clowns have been wrong before. This was the same radio show that had a Vick party all lined up for his "NOT GUILTY" verdict/trial...and were gloating and putting down anyone that thought the man was guilty. But hey they have microphones in front of them so they MUST be experts.
