redblackfan
It should be about desire and heart, it doesn't matter about how old someone is. Keith Brooking, Lawyer Milloy, Warrick Dunn, and Joe Horn still have it in them.
SaintsH8
Xue Xiong (3/2/2008)It should be about desire and heart, it doesn't matter about how old someone is. Keith Brooking, Lawyer Milloy, Warrick Dunn, and Joe Horn still have it in them.Age does not have a lot to do with it, but the numbers matter. Keith Brooking gets trucked a lot, Lawyer seems to have a least 1 or 2 seasons left in him, Dunn is done, he averaged 3.2 ypc, and Joe Horn was a bad pick up who only got 1 touchdown. Falcons Ace
Go find the nearest man around you who is 40+ years old that he can run a 4.3 40 time if he has enough heart. He ain't going to happen.
stoned_jc7
This isn't baseball. Few players play past 30 in this league. The wear and tear on players bodies is enough to shorten their lives by years. So age does have a lot to do with it. Heart is great, heart is what got them into the league. Heart doesn't make players faster or stronger when their bodies are breaking down.
