Magstuff
Lets face it Michael Jenkins can't get it done at this level. Look at how Roddy White progressed this year with a QB with a pass only metality. Michael Jenkins, I hate to say looks like a bust. How many years are left on his contract? What kind of cap hit would there be for cutting him?I would love to see Bryant Johnson brought in and teamed up with White and Robinson. Johnson is a big receiver with skills. It's hard to get the pub playing with Firzgerald and Bolden.Any thoughts?

Vicious
Isn't he in his final year of his contract?
Falcons Ace
Jenkins is really starting to look like a bust. He has 4-8 games this year and then he will be a pure fortified grade A+ 100% bus bomb. I am up for giving him a shot for half of this year, and maybe draft a tall slot guy late in this year's draft.

Purple Label
I wouldn't call Michael Jenkins a bust. He is just on the wrong team. He came through some times when Roddy was dropping everything.
Lord Sarcomere
I believe he signed a 6 year deal as a rookie.
Falcon Fred
i dont think bryant johnson would be a big upgrade from micheal jenkins.. actually i believe jenkins still has more in the tank that we havent seen, by the way he had a pretty good season considering his previous seasons
blizzard_falcon
I say we give Michael Jenkins one more - ONE MORE - chance to succeed, in Coach Mularkey's system. If he doesn't at least show #4 receiver potential, then we axe him next season.I still think we need to bring in Johnson for a look, anyway. I was really hoping we would talk to Ernest Wilford, but he got overpaid, so it's not a bad thing.Roddy is our #1.Robinson can be an excellent #3 slot receiver. That leaves Jenkins, Horn, Jennings, Finneran, and whoever else to compete to be the #4.But we have no true #2. Unless anyone out there thinks Jenkins or Horn can actually be that #2 receiver...

I don't see how that was better than any of his previous seasons. He was actually more productive with Vick.
Magstuff
He looks like a bust in my eyes. He was a first round pick. If he were a 4th or 5th round pick then I might think differently, but a 1st round pick!!!Everytime I watch him run his routes, he has terrible footwork, and when he does catch the ball it is never a clean catch. I would like to know how many yards after catch he has, just to see.
bossFALCON™
IMO jenkins needs to be cut. he should have been the first cut we made this offseason.

Redman and Harrington have very little zip on the ball, so I would call it a very catchable ball, look how Roddy did and look how Jenkins did. Most of Roddy's were when the game was on the line.and Jenkins' weren't?that same Saints game I think even on that same drive Jenkins dropped a wide open perfect pass across the middle that would have been a first down and huge gain.05 against the Seahawks Vick scrambles then launches a perfect pass downfield to Jenkins who was open by atleast 15-20 yards and it went right through his hands.Same thing against NY in 06 bomb right through his hands. With so many drops Roddy still led the WR's in yards.Jenkins has never looked like a starting WR. blizzard_falcon
Here's the difference:Roddy White broke out big time in his 3rd season, like you would expect a WR to do.Michael Jenkins has now played 4 seasons, and has shown that not only was he not worthy of being a 1st round pick, he's no better than a #3 or #4 receiver on THIS team. And we all know how bad our wideouts are.
