BUMP!

The coach wants him here, he likes the coach, that should be the end of it. RESIGN HIM! We're not going to find another corner nearly as good as him, so I have no problem giving him the same money that Asante got because he is a lot younger than Samuel is.

I'd be thrilled if Hall puts in his resignation. Save a bunch cap room.

This is SUCH flawed logic when it comes to Hall. "Trade him to save cap space." Really? For what? The 31st pick and a 3rd round pick? Give me a break, the Giants would get charged with robbery and we'd be accused of stupidity if we let that happen. He's a top 5 corner, he is worth more than that. So lets say Dallas gives us two first rounders.

You think signing 3 first rounders (1 of them in the top 10) is going to be cheaper than resigning Hall? At least with Hall if we pay a lot of money we know we're getting one of the best CBs in the league (and he's only 24 years old -- younger than a lot of players in this draft). With those two first rounders we could draft the second coming of Michael Jenkins and Jimmy Williams. Then what? We've got $10+ mill locked up in players that aren't producing.

I'd rather pay for a player I KNOW is going to be good than two players who could be busts.

Hey man, now that D-Hall sees that the Falcons are turning around, he might actually take a lower contract to stay here.

D-Hall likes here and would probably like to retire as a Falcon,

Wouldn't hold my breath on that. DHall wants his money and there are no hometown discounts, except maybe in New England. I say send him packing. We don't need a shutdown corner nor the money one would cost us if we are going to a cover 2.

I don't care if it's this year or next year, lets resign him. D-Hall wants to play here if we are able to win. And if we can negotiate with him and have him sign a 7-9 million dollar contract, lets do it!!

If i was the new GM, i would tell mr. blank that we have agreat situation here, with just signing a Brand new starting Runningback (Micheal Turner). We could foucus on the outside and inside of the offence, with Trading a guy that doesn't want to be here anymore in DeAngelo Hall moving him to the Buffalo Bills for Lee Evans and J.P.Losman and we could give Buffalo a number 2 or 3 pick to make that happen.

If the Bills won't make that move for that price, I would sweeten the deal with Hall and a 3rd rounder and switch places with the Bills in the second round of this years draft. Atlanta Falcons would be set for a long time with a RB,WR,QB. Make the move today A.S.A.P. This would help the falcons greatly.

So you want to trade a top 5 cornerback AND 2nd or 3rd round pick for a mediocre QB and a mediocre WR?

Not only would we NOT be set at QB (Losman just got beat out of his job by a 3rd round pick...) or WR (Evans isn't even a top 20 WR...) but who fills the massive hole left by Hall in our secondary? VON HUTCHINS? Or do we sign another mid-priced veteran like Jason Webster or Lewis Sanders?

Corners that are as good as Hall at his age don't come around every day...
