FalconFan13
In addition to Shane Olivea, the Jets are targeting free agent Maurice Williams as a possible starter at right tackle. They're trying to upgrade from Anthony Clement. Williams was a road grader in Jacksonville, but fell down the depth chart in 2007. He also plays guard. This is horrible Olivea and Williams were my 2 o-lineman FA choices. I think the jets have a Spy on me -.-
jamnesiac34
Yah, kinda strange to see the Falcons not make any moves on OL free agents. I'm perplexed.

TheTruth
Seems like the Jets are getting the idea of building the team through the trenches...Take notice Falcons! Take notice!
jamnesiac34
And you would think for sure that they would be going after the 2nd or 3rd best OL free agent, not to mention that he's from JACKSONVILLE. Maybe they are going to spend most of the draft picks on O-Linemen?

Lord Sarcomere
Lets just hope we can sign Williams sometime today or tommorow.
Knight of God
If its McKay still doing the job, he may be allowed to leave. From what I know of TD so far he may be leaving back to J-Ville with a contract. Then too Blank is tired of being told no.

I think the jets have a Spy on me -.-Yeah, it'd be smart for us to try and pick these guys up, but our front office is busy "WHOOING" michael turner......I swear, ive never heard of a visit taking this long with no contract. Blank needs to quit taking Da Burna out on dates and either give him the contract he wants, or let him go and focus on some of these o-lineman available.....Turner has all the cards, its not like we have anything to offer him besides money....It should have been like this:Blank: how much money do u want to sign?Turner: i want this much!.....(whatever deal he wanted)Blank/TD:Ok you got it......or No thank you, thanks for visiting, (on to the next FA target on our list)How hard is that? what is the use of taking him to lame ##### hawks, and force games?? Rock AKA RyanFalcon34
i dont understand cause the Jets have 2 former first rounders in Mangold and Ferguson on the line. Why would they want to spend even more money after getting Faneca. That is way too much money on the o line. They have a lot more issues than the o line. Its also funny how no one even thinks of the fact that they had the same record as us, even after all the BS we went through. When experts talk about the Jets, they don't say how horrible their team is and how bad of shape they are.
Josh Affonso
Maurice Williams is still in Atlanta. Hopefully they will announce the Turner and Williams signings together. That would be a pleasant suprise. As far as I know, we will not be targeting many offensive line free agents because TD wants to build in the trenches through the draft. Not sure how I feel about that, because of how rookies are so hit-and-miss. But I guess if there was one position of draft heavy at, and late, then it would be OL.Jake Long might just turn out to be the pick. But hey, with all of the apparent injuries to Glenn Dorsey...who knows. Maybe he will slip to the second round. Or, maybe we will finally trade DeAngelo and just pick up Dorsey in the late first. I could live with that! :P
