Falcons intrested in Randall Gay

Given the small crop of free agent cornerbacks available, Randall Gay figures to make a decent splash in the open market.

The first stop on the now-former Pats corner s free agent tour will be New Orleans tomorrow. Given he played his college ball at LSU, that s a logical visit. The next stop will be Tampa Bay Monday.

Other teams expressing interest include the New York Jets , Detroit, Seattle and Atlanta.

And when Gay is benched in week 2, you'll be the first bitching about his signing. Say no to Randall Gay and Swiftkick.

I can live with Gay and Houston as long as our front 4 is getting to the QB those can be 2 solid cover corners in the cover 2

He is a solid CB who will bring experience from a championship franchise (regardless of what you want to say about the Pats). I would get him just to add some more depth, competition and experience to a young team.

Its not good that he has visits already planned out with others. If we are interested, they need to hurry.

heard we gave him a call midnight last night

The blog says we gave him a call after midnight Thursday/Friday am along with a few other teams.

yeah, if we want him, they better jump on him now... especially with two divisional rivals (and for me, one home court rival in Detroit (my Dad's team)), we don't want him to sign with one of the others to only have it bite us in the ##### later. i think we are scheduled to play each one of the above stated teams next season, too. :)
