Maurice Williams-OG-Jacksonville

Michael Turner-RB-San Diego

Erik Coleman-New York Jets

Grady Jackson-DT- Jacksonville

Brian Kelly-CB-Tampa Bay Bucs- a vet to help Chris Houston develop and D. Hall to mature also adds good depth

Release

Dunn- too big of a cap hit, with turner on board he is no longer necessary.

Finneran-2 major knee injuries are just too much to come back from.

Restructure

Keith Brooking- I think he will do whats best for the team and restructure to stay in ATL.

Joe Horn- He was a good influence last year on Roddy. Maybe he will restructure to stay in the league 1 more year.

1. Jake Long-RT-Michigan: stood out at the combine with him on the right side our line will be immediately improved.

2. Joe Flacco-QB- Delaware- big guy 6 6 but shows great athleticism and bulk for his frame. Rocket of an arm, we give him a year or two to learn and he will be great.

2b. Pat Sims-DT-Auburn: With Sims, you get a guy who can blast through the line. He is big and can anchor the middle of our defense for years

3. Anthony Collins-LT-Kansas- Big agile guy with huge frame with room to get bigger. Bends well with the knees an great LT in my book, might not fall this far lets hope he does

3b.Phillip Wheeler-MLB-Georgia Tech: Homegrown middle linebacker makes plays all over the field with him and Sims in the middle our run defense should be stout for years to come.

4. Tom Zbikowski- S-Notre Dame: a playmaker who can play center field great athlete hard worker a ball hawk too. He also is and excellent kick returner. Plays with a mean streak. Great special teamer.

5. Jacob Tamme-TE-Kentucky: He makes plays. Very productive TE in the SEC has good experience.

6. Brandon Coutu-K-Georgia: We need a kicker. Coutu is the best of the bunch. Homegrown guy.

7. Jacob Hester-FB- LSU: Will be a great special teamer if nothing else. puts the teams before himself very hard worker has the attitude this team needs.

7b. Marcus Monk-WR-Arkansas: 6 6 4.55 and has some of the best hands out of any one in the draft. He was over shadowed in a run heavy offense.

Depth Chart:

WRx: White, Horn, Jennings

TE: Milner, Tamme, Blakley

RT: Long, R. Foster

RG: M. Williams, Clabo

C: McClure, Datish

LG: Blalock, Forney

So what are you gonna do w dhall next year? sign him, franchise him or let him go?

Also... I like woodson over flacco. Maybe im the only guy in America, but i think SEC is just better competition... Flaccos not been mentally tested to play in the NFL too soon.

I personally am a huge Woodson fan but if you put him on a mock on here people attack you about his release and with the D hall situation i would sign him or franchise him the reason he gets beat some times is he plays overly aggressive i believe if we could get a vet that still has some life to be a very good nickel like brian kelly he could mentor d hall into the top CB in the Nfl so i would re sign him next year as the center piece of our defense

If one analyst runs the other way on a guy, I have my doubts about the validity of their opinion. With Woodson, it seems like everybody has run the other way. There is a reason for that. After all, as you say, he played in the SEC. That should help his status when you put it with their great 2007 season, but with him, the more people have seen, the less they think of him. That raises alot of red flags with me...

I'm not nearly as sold on Flacco as some people on this board. Seems like a project that might take some time. Brohm and Woodson are more ready to come in and help within the next year. I liked Collins until his terrible forty time. It was in the 5.5 range. Definitely not what you look for in a LT. He will probably slip to the second day unless he has good pro day workouts.

I agree with the first part of what you're saying.

But when is a LT going to be running in a straight line for 40 yards, with no pads, and no defenders to block? I don't see how the 40 yard dash affects O Lineman, much less any football position, at all.
