ziggy58
The best athlete for the teamDo we draft a QB, RB, OT, DT, or DE(Long, I'm an Ohio State fan, but, not at three)it doesn't matter. We need the athletes.Since I have been a Falcon fan I've watched a lot of drafts(28), and have high points and low points. I live two hours outside of Toronto, and when all my friends were cheering for the Steelers and Cowboys I was a Falcon fan.High picks don't always work out, and they haven't for the Falcons:Aundray Bruce- Drafted number one overall Tony Cassilas- Drafted number two overallBruce Pickens- Drafted number three overallI won't mention the other player drafted number oneAt the number three pick there are a lot of players who will help the team, it doesn't matter what position. I remember the last time we traded out of the number three spot to Seattle and they selected Shawn Springs(Ohio State) and we selected Michael Booker. Springs is still playing, and made a few trips to the Pro-Bowl, while Booker is who knows where. One of the worst picks I thought Atlanta made was drafting Gerald Riggs. Why draft a running back when we had William Andrews, I guess it worked out for a few years. There are many moves to be made before the draft, and pick the best athlete for the team, there will be arguments no matter what the pick. Joremarid
ryan, along with turner, norwood, roddy, and robinson will make a great offense for the next 10-15 years.
GEORGIAfan
joremari (3/2/2008)ryan, along with turner, norwood, roddy, and robinson will make a great offense for the next 10-15 years.matt ryan does not fit a vertical offense, and he is not worth the 3rd pick, PLUS he throws to many picks. Since66
Ryan is not worthy of the 13th much less the 3rd pick. Wait until the second round and grab Henne.
