Falcons Ace
Parcells kind of made it look like he was coming here for sure, Turner hasn't.

Say what you want, but when he leaves town he will NOT be back!!Hes wining and dining him, they went to the ga force game, and their all 4 people including Turner are going to dinner tonight at a undisclosed restuarant. Go check every 5 star restuarants in Atlanta. :P Turner is going to want big bucks, but it would still be cheaper getting him over dmac. Arthur playing host. Hes gotten plenty of others this way. Guest Gritz
Let's be realistic here. Signing Turner would be great for the Falcons if he doesn't break the bank and our salary cap......But we aren't one of those teams who are "one player away." We are a crapload of players away.....I guess what I'm trying to say is that signing Turner would definitely get us closer to being competitive but he isn't going to put us over the hump...... The Peregrine
I don't know if you want to call it, 'I'm looking at the glass half full" but I don't think we are too far away from being competitive. I mean, we fix the oline with a thorobread LT and our left side is shored up and we get another T and with Clabo at G and we have a descent line with Datish or McClure. Our line shouldn't be too bad. Turner is our feature back with Norwood changing pace. Redman is serviceable. We got descent WRs now in Roddy and Laurent and hopefully Jenkins start fillin in his own shoes. On defense we draft our DT in the second and MLB in the 3rd and move Brooking back to Will. Our secondary should be better (Hall, Houston, Irons-NB and Hutchins-Dime) and either JWill gets it going or Coleman from the Jets. A pretty descent 2ndary, with a decent line once we get a stud DT. So the trenches would be set on both sides with our key pieces in place.1-Jake Long2a-Gosder Cherilus (sp)2b-Kentwan Balmer3-Philip WheelerThat shores up our OL with 1-LT, 2-RT, 2b-DT, 3-MLBWith the rest I say we draft for depth and competition...Is my 1st 3 rd far-fetched? Possibly but other serviceable, deserving prospects can replace those names and those addresses our holes. Is it still half-empty to you?
