noel47
i was board and looked up some interesting facts.Deangelo Hall states when behind in a gamePoint Situation Total Solo Ast Sck SFTY PDef Int TDs Yds Avg LngBehind 34 32 2 0.0 0 11 4 0 55 -- 33Asante SamuelPoint Situation Total Solo Ast Sck SFTY PDef Int TDs Yds Avg LngBehind 6 6 0 0.0 0 0 0 0 0 -- 0Point being its a lot harder playing from behind and making a big play then it is going out there with the lead and knowing they r coming out throwing cuz they have to catch up.. these r only the 2007 stats but 06 and 05 r pretty much the same for samuel he only had 1 int in 05 coming from behind. other then that all of his games from behind looked like this years stats. u can not judge a player by how he does when he is only good when his team is on top. birdweiserrr
Thats why Samuels is signed and no one seems interested in Hall.
FalconFan13
birdweiserrr (3/1/2008)Thats why Samuels is signed and no one seems interested in Hall.Actually thats because Sameuls wasn't required a draft pick to get If Hall was a FA and Saeul required a draft pick i assure you Hall would be on someones team where as Sameul would still be a Falcon. noel47
samuel is a free agent witch means people only need to sign him for the right price. Dhall has to be traded not just signed... 2 totally different situations.

Knight of God
birdweiserrr (3/1/2008)OK well Hall says the chances of him playing here next year are slim and none. What's he gonna do? He's a Falcon still and until he's traded or cut he will be on our minds as a question mark. Get over it.

Abe
Oh and the fact that Asante didnt have to come from behind that much... On the other hand Atlanta was allways trailing it seemed.

GEORGIAfan
man if D.Hall had the pass rush that Samuels had, people would be saying Deion WHO??
markymark7478
I loved when the Falcons drafted DHall but his selfish play since being drafted has disappointed me. Some plays that stand out is going for an INT on a bomb by Brees as well as letting a fumble go out of bounds last year because he didn't dive on the ball and instead was trying to take it to the house so he could get on his knees and praise himself. I cannot remember a game changing or game saving play made by him. I know it has not helped him as the Falcons were horrible last year and the second half meltdowns before that didn't help. When I take a look at Samuels I remember his begin the game pick six of Feely and game saving INT of Feely to save from the upset. I love DHall but maybe a change in scenery would help him as well as the Falcons. I do not think he would be a good influence on a young rebuilding team next year.
