FalconsFanSC
Boyd is an excellent back with a lot power between the tackles. Doesn't have elite speed but he ran a 4.5 forty at the combine. He also catches the ball well. He always gives 100% and fights for every yard. There are a lot of Clemson fans, the Gamecocks cross-state rivals, who are glad that Boyd is gone. Xnex
I've watched him play many games since I'm a Gamecock fan. Cory Boyd will be an excellent player in the NFL. IMO he will end up being one of the bigtime sleepers of this draft. Good speed, great power, and he really has some excellent moves and can make people miss in very tight situations. He's also a pretty good blocker and an excellent receiver out of the backfield. If Boyd would have had more support around him last year he would have been more widely known and highly coveted. If we miss on Turner I hope we take Boyd in the 3rd. He will be worth the pick.

He got enough talent to justify being picked. He'll do very well in the NFL barring a serious injury. He's too good at too many things not to be valuable to an NFL team. vtfalcon7
Im a USC student and he was the 5th year senior we all loved always got the loudest appluad when the line ups were announced he was a leader of a young team and a worker i also never heard of him getting in to any trouble like many other players i would love him if we could pick him up in the 4th or 5th even if we do get turner with the injuries this team has had in the past we can nver have to many players in the backfield especially if that is a focal point of the team
Serge Storms
Decent back, could be a good utility guy in the NFL.

USMC_FalcFan
There is NO WAY that Boyd doesn't get drafted! He is a powerful back with very good ball catching skills. He works very hard and wants the ball when the game is on the line (got very upset when Spurrier called a fade route (incomplete by the way) close to the goalline near the end of the game. I would be very excited to have him on the Falcons!
Gimmesomo
I think Boyd will be available in the 5th so that would be a good look for the franchise, either him or BenJarvus Green-Ellis. They're both powerful backs with a good feel for the ball and all around game skills.
