Brookhaven
Just wanted to be the first to post what is going to be a common thread over the next few years. For those complaining that we didn't sign Vilma, the guy is an injury waiting to happen. The Saints took a huge chance on this guy. He is the next Ed Hurtwell. I did not want him, and I am glad we didn't sign him.
Purple Label
please! He can't be that bad. Hartwell didn't get hurt until he came to Atlanta. Vilma may be hurt with the Jets as Abraham was. You see that he improved this past season.
Bloodhoundz
Yeah way to mislead people with your thread title and what was actually posted in your thread.
Mr.900
Vilma is no way near a risk. I willing to bet he will be in the probowl next year.
BlahBlah WoofWoof
Vilma has been healthy his entire career except last year...He didn't have that micro-fracture surgery, that some had said he did have. The surgery he did have was to remove bone fragments from his knee.A Jet fan (who has sources) who is in the medical field, said he expects Vilma to be %110 next year. widespreadhaggrd
I agree. Right now we are a bad football team. There's no way Vilma would have put us over the top. For the Saints on the otherhand, it could turn out to be a great move. They haven't had a player near his caliber in the middle since the days of Sam Mills. They have a great shot at winning the NFC South if they can add a few more pieces on defense.
allbrian1
Vilma has had problems with that knee since high school. i think he'll be around as much as Dan Morgan was the last few years.
