blizzard_falcon
The Falcons have contacted free agent Michael Turner. The Falcons signing Turner would likely take them out of the running for Darren McFadden at No. 3. He'd be an excellent fit in new OC Mike Mularkey's power run game. It doesn't sound like will Atlanta have much competition. In other news:The Jets are expected to send third- and fifth-round picks to Carolina in exchange for DT Kris Jenkins. It remains uncertain if the Jets will restructure Jenkins' contract. An announcement should come from one of the teams by Friday afternoon.
Joshua Affonso
Sweet. I can't wait to see what he can do as a Falcon!
blizzard_falcon
Well, he should be coming here later today for a dinner with Mr. Blank (and I assume TD and Coach Smith...)Hopefully by the end of the day we have an offer in place, or maybe even the deal signed! FalconFan13
I'm just hoping it's for a reasonable price. If we don't have much competition it sounds like we might be offering a hefty price. Hope it's 4 to 5 a year max.
metalfalcon
Turner and Norwood sounds pretty good to me. Thunder and Lightning!!!
Joshua Affonso
The cap hit for Turner and Dunn will probably be so close that once we cut Dunn, Turner will basically be free for a year and a half. I am not too worried about his cap hit as long as he plays well.

Haha it's only one AM here. No, I live right outside Washington, D.C. I just ... never sleep. P.S. I just noticed your signature - I think Arman Shields has TONS of potential. I really hope the front office is looking into this kid. If we only got one WR through the whole offseason, and it was Shields, I'd be ecstatic. He was much better at the combine than I ever thought he would be.

I agree about Sheilds, I think that he has No. 1 WR potential in this league...I realize that it seems like a long shot but WR is just one of those positions where you can get by on athletic ability...and Shields has TONS. I don't even know if I would call him a playmaker....but he just MAKES PLAYS. Haha. You should check out my mock...I have us taking Shields with our first seventh round pick. ~SEAMILL~
If the Falcons get him and Josh Brown I will be happy. The Falcons contacted Seahawks kicker Josh Brown and also tried to convince Chargers running back Michael Turner to make a visit on Friday.
