Dylan Moore
Some people just dont get this thing called a cap room we cant pick up this guy or that guy because they are really expensive which is why we are cutting players whom are overpaid (like Dunn,Crumpler,Coleman) so why does everyone say we should sign all these big name free agents or try to get three first round picks by trading with the cowboys it is just too expnsive to have three first round picks so why do people keep coming up with crazy ideas

chickenfried
Yep, as of right now we would need all $17MM in cap space to sign the rooks. We definitely need to do some more trimming if we are going to make even a wave in free agency. We also need to renegotiate with a couple of vets (e.g. Brook - if he's not cut, abraham - has 4 more years left). I was just saying that where the cap is concerned there are loopholes. They are so not finsihed yet and there will be close to 30 mil very soon. Gnorts
Correct me if I'm wrong. We have 17 million, the league will increase the cap 7 million. And when we cut Dunn we save about 6 million. So that is ~30 million. Thoughts?PS: Love Dunn but...

Even though Brooking did have alot of tackles this year but... Dunn taking the bigger cut.
