1989Fan
grendel (2/27/2008)So the Giants shouldn't have drafted Tuck or Kiawanucka.... Good to know.C'mon grendel....you know the #24 pick (Kiwi) and a 2nd rounder (Tuck) is MUCH different than the #3 overall pick. Not to mention the Giants were a playoff team already when they took Kiwi. This is a team in the cellar, and loaded with holes.I like Chris Long alot, but this team has too many SERIOUS needs for a luxury pick...no matter how good he is. I could see if we were there @ 10 or something and he fell, but knowing that either Dorsey, McFadden, Ryan, Long will be there and fill a void for us, I dont see Chris Long happening. If Long is there @ 3, he will be there @ 4 too....unless we trade the pick.I would be fine with taking a DE with one of our seconds, like NY did with Tuck, but not with the #3 and this teams current roster build. thatenglishkid
BlacksburgHokie (2/27/2008)thatenglishkid (2/27/2008)I want no.99 :PAre you kidding?? I want 67 in the background. It's so obvious that he's already pancaked his man and is now going to help on the other side :PI thought was obvious that #99 he has just broken 2 blocks and is on his way for a sack and forced fumble. I want to be better I want 3 1st round DE's, all living up to their potential (go to the gym, Jamaal) and all going after the opposing QB. We could have girl scouts back there as CB's and it wouldn't matter.Yeah, that'll be great, but then all they would have to do is just run up the middle on us. :w00t:It's happened before. We need to build up the interior line with some talent.

On passing downs all 3 are in there with Long at the UT spot. We'd have a real rotation with solid starters and they could stay fresh and not get injured as often.Shhh.....grendel, you're making too much sense. Especially in a 4-3 alignment?Your scenario sounds like one helluva reach to me.

Judging by his performance in college, his size/strength, his versatility, and by the fact that his dad has helped him immensely, I'd say the chances of him succeeding are very high.
