Good post!!!

I hope we tie Hall to a good contract that wont kill us. We have the potential to have a great secondary, especially if we beef up the Defensive line. Let's not kill the Golden Goose - or whatever that phrase is!

You want me to tell you what's really embarrassing? Having a corner back that singlehandedly loses you a game. You want embarrassing? That's found in a corner that puts himself before the team, and demands exuberant amounts of money that he does not deserve. You want embarrassing? That's a corner that tells an elite wide out he owns him, even shaves it into his hair, and proceeds to get lit up by said wide out. You want embarrassing? That's found in a corner that thinks he's a shutdown corner when he's at best a decent cover 2 corner.

MeAngelo Hall is the definition of embarrassing. He wants $10 million a season, touts himself as the next best thing to Deion, and the fastest man in the NFL. The truth of the matter is that he's an average at best corner, and doesn't succeed against the premier receivers in the game. He claims to be shutdown, yet he continually gets embarrassed by those that he is supposed to shut down. He's good against an average receiver, but the time we need him to be good is against a team's premier receiver. His job is to take away a team's best receiver. He can not do that.

You want to see what a shut down corner is? Try doing a search for Champ Bailey, Deion Sanders, **** "Night Train" Lane, Rod Woodsen, Ronnie Lott(he played safety and corner, and was an All-Pro at both positions), Pat Fischer, Darrell Green. That's a shut down corner. MeAngelo Hall? He's a dime a dozen. Anyone can run their mouth. The problem is, MeAngelo can not back up his talk. We're sick of having a crop of players that have the me first, and then the team attitude. And he doesn't even have the "and then the team" part, just the me part.

He also does not want to be here. That's no big secret. He said unless he gets a big deal, he's holding out. Hmm... have you ever heard of a contract? Have you signed one? What happened to the part about being a man, and honoring your word. Signing a contract obligates you to do something for a set amount of time for a set dollar amount. Now he doesn't want to even do that. He's a coward, and we don't need him.

Perhaps you're just ignorant, or perhaps you are too blinded by your fanboy admiration of his thug-speak mentality to see through the facade that he's built himself up to be. He's not that good, sorry, but one day you'll grow up and see that. The franchise is moving towards being one of character. MeAngelo has no character, and personally, I'll pack his locker for him if he'll just leave. He's a cancer, I'm just sorry that you've been infected by him. Or perhaps you're deluded by playing Madden for extended amounts of time in your mother's basement. Hall of Fame? Please!!! He will probably get into the sports Hall of Shame one day.

In addition to talking about him, I'd like to leave a word for you as well. Try hooked on phonics please, it's a tad hard to understand what your point even is with your post. And if you want to admire him some more, make a visit on over to www.iholdmeangelosjock.com .

Dude i get so tired of yhat i rememberou hypocrites talking about one friggin game that was bs calling that could have went against smith as well but didn't and that is what was fustrating. it's a good thing your wife don't put you out when you blow your load. The man takes the other teams best reciever out the game most times. that one game is a bull crab azz measure stick. I tell you wfhat i remember a game against detriot we were getting run all over d-hall drew a penalty one play by knocking kitnas head of f late. it was a fitfteen yarder but it sent a message that we were still coming. the drive stalled on the next 3 plays. we get the ball and the offense has a chance to win the game and does nothing. I LOVE THAT HE WAS THE ONE TO LIGHT A FIRE UNDER THE DEFENSE FOR THAT ONE STAND AND GIVE US A CHANCE TO WIN.

ps i DIDNT EVEN FINISH READING YOUR POST BECAUSE THAT ONE GAME DOES NOT MAKE THAT MAN A MISCRIENT.

I seem to remember him getting torched by these players in multiple games:

TJ Houshmanzadeh

Roy Williams

Do I really need to continue?

Also, miscreant is spelled with an a, not an i. Didn't has an apostrophe. It's frustrating, not fustrating. Detroit not detriot. Fifteen, not fitfteen. Jesus, you should get a medal for most illiterate post of the day.

As for loving that he's ******** enough to get stupid penalties as opposed to being a leader and getting in someone's face, wow. Attitude, as controversial as it is to Remember the Titans, doesn't reflect leadership when it's negative. And that one game doesn't make him a miscreant, you're right. The multiple times he's acted like he was playing pee-wee football and getting his ##### handed to him makes him a miscreant. He's much like you and the others that are holding onto his ball sack. He doesn't know when to shut up.

ok first of all, how in **** is it possible that ONE man cant win a game, but ONE man can lose a game??yall really need to stfu about that carolina game foreal. Dhall doesnt play on the offensive side of the ball, and as i can recall, the offense left 10 points off the board by a dropped touchdown and a missed makeable fieldgoal. so even though dhall had a big impact on the game, he DIDNT lose the game. its takes a team to win and lose a game so please shut up about that. and answer me this, since dhall was so called the defination of embarassment, why was he on the field the whole season and not replaced by someone?if he is not an elite corner, why do teams throw to the other side of the field all the time opposite of dhall. tell me that? all the people that u named as shutdown corners, they didnt become quote on quote shutdown corners early in their careers. lets not forget dhall is still 24, and has already been to 2 probowls. and last of all, the last time i checked, before this whole thing got started about him being shopped around, all dhall said he wanted was a "contract extention"...at the beginning it wasnt about the money. get your facts right!

What people need to understand about Hall is that this team has a TON of needs, and Hall is going to want a lot of money to stay here long-term. We can't afford right now to give him the money he wants, and still fill the rest of our team needs. If we can't resign him, he will walk next year without us getting anything for him. If we can get a 1st for him now, that will help us fill the rest of our needs. He is a good player, but not great. We can find someone who will come close to his talent and not spend as much money. It's not about being a draft junkie, it's about making smart business moves. Do you get paid money to do this for a living? Didnt think so. Ill trust the people who do.

He didn't want a contract extension, he demanded one. He said if he didn't get a multi-year deal that he would hold out. He said he wasn't going to play for the money he agreed to because he could go out and get hurt and then he wouldn't get a LTD. Don't sign the contract if you're not going to honor your obligation. The fact of the matter is, he doesn't want to play for that because of the deals corners have gotten recently. Tough ##### son, you shouldn't have signed the contract in the first place. I'll give him credit, he did make it to 2 Pro Bowls. I don't think he was deserving of 1 of them, but hey he was the sexy pick for fans, and won the homecoming queen vote. The thing is, Pro Bowls don't mean jack to me. I could care less about his personal accomplishments. I look at what he does for the team. He's repeatedly a disturbance in the locker room, and he really hasn't produced for the money he's demanding. If he had 8-10 picks a year, 75 tackles, and didn't give up TD's to premier receivers, then yes, he'd be worth it. But, he doesn't do that. And teams don't throw the other way, especially when he's playing man on their #1. Why do you think that the multiple names I've mentioned above have the numbers they do against him?

How much money did he demand? As far as I know, he's only asked for an extension. There was no specific dollar amount attached to that. Speculation on how much money he wants is stupid when you have hard data to back it up.

ok dude first of all, NO cornerback in the league is superman..every corner no matter how good will always get beat from time to time to keep them honest. champ bailey got beat a couple of times this past season, so did al harris against the giants..so what u got to say about that??

Roy Williams 11.24.05 3 catches 55 yards 1 TD

Williams had a game vs Atlanta in 04 (3 catches 18 yards 0 TD) but I don t think Hall was playing.

Note, these are against the whole Falcon D.

Just the facts.

And if you want to admire him some more, make a visit on over to www.iholdmeangelosjock.com .

ok first of all, how in **** is it possible that ONE man cant win a game, but ONE man can lose a game??yall really need to stfu about that carolina game foreal.

Why do you think that the multiple names I've mentioned above have the numbers they do against him?

ok dude first of all, NO cornerback in the league is superman..every corner no matter how good will always get beat from time to time to keep them honest. champ bailey got beat a couple of times this past season, so did al harris against the giants..so what u got to say about that??

He has repeatedly said he's the best corner in the league, even went so far as to crown himself as the next Deion Sanders. I'm sorry, but the best corner in the league doesn't get beat like a red headed step child all season long. If it were 5 or 6 plays, I'd give him a pass. It's not 5 or 6. It happens too often. He gives up a lot of home runs. And then he spouts off at the mouth. Deion could do that, because he backed it up, and that was his style. But, he did back it up. DeAngelo doesn't back it up enough to talk.

As for Champ getting beat a couple of times and Al getting beat a couple of times. Like I said, if it's 5 or 6 times a season, no biggie. They don't go around running their mouth saying they're the best, they own so and so, they're this or that. They let their play speak for them on the field. They also only get beat a few times a season. Look at Harris's play over the course of the season, and even in the first snow game in the playoffs. He played very inspired, and lifted his team up. DeAngelo takes cheap shots both on the field and in the press, even about his own team. He's not bigger than the game or this team. The sooner he learns that, the better off he'll be.

I seem to remember him getting torched by these players in multiple games:

Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson

Terrell Owens

Steve Smith

Laverneus Coles

TJ Houshmanzadeh

Roy Williams

Do I really need to continue?

Yes. You seem to remember wrong.

This are the games stats for all the players you mentioned.

Chad Johnson 10.29.06 - 6 catches 78 yards 1 TD

Terrell Owens 12.16.06 5 catches 69 yards 2 TD

Terrell Owens 09.12.05 7 catches 112 yards 0 TD

Steve Smith 09.23.07 1 catch 10 yards 0 TD

Steve Smith 11.11.07 - 5 catches 61 yards 0 TD

Steve Smith 12.24.06 0 catches (minus 5 yards rushing)

Steve Smith 12.04.05 7 catches 65 yards 1 TD

Steve Smith 01.01.06 9 catches 131 yards 1 TD

L Coles 10.04.05 9 catches 96 yards 0 TD

T. J Hous 10.29.06 - 6 catches 70 yards 0 TD

Roy Williams 11.05.06 - 6 catches 138 yards 1 TD

Roy Williams 11.24.05 3 catches 55 yards 1 TD

Williams had a game vs Atlanta in 04 (3 catches 18 yards 0 TD) but I don t think Hall was playing.

Note, these are against the whole Falcon D.

Just the facts.

And you're saying that you wouldn't want those numbers against the "best corner in the league" every game out of your wide outs? You're out of your mind if you say no. I take a TD a game from them every time. And giving up big plays to set up scores every time. Especially against "the best corner in the league". That's called quality production.

And the Smith numbers twice were weeks where he was questionable on the status report.

Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson

Terrell Owens

Steve Smith

Laverneus Coles

TJ Houshmanzadeh

Roy Williams

Do I really need to continue?

****...talk about PWNAGE...
