The Falcons are still pursuing acquiring DT Shaun Rogers from Detroit to solidify the line. Look for him to be dealt soon and other teams are in the mix including the hated Saints and Bucs. What should we give up to get this guy????

I'm not surprised. I don't like it, but I'm not surprised.

I wonder what do they want for him?

Ya... im just EXTREMELY wary of this guy... he never had a good attitude in Detroit... NEVER played every down... and just all around was not a good influence on the field or in their locker room (a la they are shopping him) ... i don't see us getting him unless he really vows to TD that he is going to change his ways and TD buys it

Yeah since you said all that I doubt we go after him, that's a lot of baggage.

You're never going to become a mod if you're always going to be breaking the rules. Not to mention the fact that I find it disgusting the way you post, yet you claim to be Christian.

Oh cut him some slack his boyfriend hasn't gotten home to change his diaper.

lol lets hope that soon

If we could get Rogers for a fourth round pick it would be great. A third round pick seems to be to high for some one with a poor attitude, besides he doesn't even play every down.

That's the thing. Everyone keeps saying that TD is high on character and that we are rebuilding so if that's true then he probably won't even look Rogers way.

ill pick up okam in udfa (which is where he is headed given his pathetic combine performance) and trade him for rogers. they are almost the same player. tons of talent, can be out of shape a lot, tires easily, can dominate and then dissapear for long stretches and both have poor work ethics and overall attitudes. and to top it off they both went to texas.

no thanks on shaun rogers and no thanks on shaun rogers .05, frank okam.

I would not pass on Okam if he was an UDFA. That would be a steal because this guy can be dominate when motivated. He will be forced to get into shape and be a major contributor in our d-line rotation. Grady Jackson was not the most lean guy that was in the best shape. He worked out pretty good for us.

frank okam wasnt motivated by the opportunity to solidify himself as a 1st round pick during the season, wasnt motivated to work his a** off to get and stay in shape for the senior bowl (and didnt even get invited, thats how horrible his year was) and he showed up 30 pounds overweight for the combine, which was his shot to put himself back in the top 3 rounds and compete with red bryant as the top NT prospect for the 3-4 in the draft. he could have made himself tons of money this weekend and what did he do?

he ate himself out of the top 4 rounds.

there is no such thing as a steal for these guys. the only stealing going on will be them stealing your money while they waste your time by giving no effort and not working hard enough to ever make a noticeable impact, especially relative to their now wasted talent.

no thank you!!!
