hawkeyes
We need a proven player as good as DHall if he is gone, not another draft pick.
stoned_jc7
I wouldn't turn down either, if the price is right. But personally I would like the draft picks since we are rebuilding.

stoned_jc7
We can still get vets, just thru FA. Seems like most trades generally involve a swap of player or players for picks.
Crazy Trav
yea vets like jammer(chargers) and a 3rd would be a nice trade for hall but im just saying an example its not for real so dont criticize lol.but if got a good deal like a trade for a draft pick so that we could be able to get a guy like mike jenkins then we should go for it. Im not picky about who but someone that was a probowler this year. DHall was the closest thing we had to a probowler this year.

Electric Falcon
hawkeyes (2/23/2008)We need a proven player as good as DHall if he is gone, not another draft pick.I agree! I think what a lot of people lose sight of when they start talking about money and veteran players is the fact that you have to look at how much money you have already invested in a player already, it's not this seasons price tag alone that matters, it's the amount of money you've put into developing a player that counts also. Falcons Ace
We could trade for a top notch OL guy, a nasty young MLB, or a nasty FS.
stacey phillips
talking about veterans, did anyone see the year jermaine phillips had in tampa as a safety
Cocoa Beach Falcon
hawkeyes (2/23/2008)We need a proven player as good as DHall if he is gone, not another draft pick.Actually, considering Hall's production in the past, we should get a good proven player (maybe not as good as Hall) and a draft pick
The Don™
caliber (2/24/2008)I wonder if the NYG would be willing to part w/ Osi for him....I'd take that in a NY minute.Pssh...The Giant GM should be fired if that happened.
