The best lineman that were expected to be free agents all seemed to be getting 'franchised' or 'transitioned'

The Falcons probably need to go ahead and get a blue chip offensive or defensive tackle while they have a top 5 pick, because it seems they are harder and harder to get through free agency.

If you have a premier DL, that's what to build your team around. Don't blame them. Good thing there's a lot of talent in the draft at those positions this year.

If the Steelers were willing to give the transition tag to a backup O-lineman, that pretty much sets the tone for the FA OL market right there. I guess teams are just looking at what happened last offseason and how the bidding war pushed up mediocre talent to very high prices, and decided that it would be the cheaper option to just pay them the average of the top 10 players up front instead of being locked into some ridiculous long term deal.
