Falcons | Team places franchise tag on Stutz

Tue, 19 Feb 2008 16:59:03 -0800

Updating previous reports, the Associated Press reports the Atlanta Falcons have placed the franchise tag on LS/TE Boone Stutz. Although not currently on the roster, GM Thomas Dimitroff expressed his desire to resign Stutz and then franchise tag him. This in response to the overwhelming petitioning of the subscribers to the Atlanta Falcons Message Boards. The one-year franchise tender is expected to be in the neighborhood of $22.45 million, the entire expected 2008 salary cap space available to the Falcons.

he would be good in tennesee..young needs a go to reciever, and alge needs to know who is QB is gonna be. delhomme is still rehabilitating his injury, and tampa goes through alot of QB's per year, so he best bet that would get him the ball alot is in tennesee.

i would rather crump go to any team than a division rival. the titans may be drafting limas sweed from what i hear.

I have been thinking the entire time that we should have traded him to Tennessee, so when we realeased him I went to their message boards to check out if there was any buzz about him and I would say about 85% of their fans wanted him, and now this. It's starting to look like it might happen.

Worth every penny!!

And as for Crump, I'd be happier seeing him go there than TB, NO or the Panties. Young is always drawing comparisons to Vick anyway, so maybe that would be a really good match for both of them.
