falcons faithful
Jamaal Anderson he has the size and the hands. Could learn the position fairly quickly. Then the falcons will pick up a DE in the draft. Why not this reason the have been lots of question as to why.
brendyne
I could see him coming in like Mike Vrabel, but not as a starter. Just because he used to be a WR it means nothing. That was a few years ago.

But i do think he could come in on 3 TE sets in goal line situations. If we get there for once and catch some TD's if necessary.

delaigle
Why?? There are 4 TE on the team nowD. BlackleyC. AndersonM. MilnerG. CooperOK they may not be as good as Alge but they probably are better than J. Anderson at TE now. So why do they NEED another one? Not all TEs have to be as good as Alge to be sucessful in the NFL. Cocoa Beach Falcon
I don't think the Front Office has given up on Jamaal after one season the way so many fans have already. Something about being professionals and understanding rookie development makes me think that they would like for him to play the position of need that we hired him to play. BlacksburgHokie
Because the best way to protect his lack of bulk is to make him a blocker. That makes sense :hehe:Although it could work, if only in specialty situations. I would like to see him get the defensive side of the ball down before he starts messing around on offense...
gitwitme
I don't think the sack statistic is the best judge of Jamaal's season. From what I saw he held up pretty well at the point of attack, didn't get pushed out of too many plays, and did apply pressure on occasion. We forget he was a rookie who has not been playing the DE position very long. I guaranteee you if we draft a DT the caliber of Dorsey or Ellis, he will make a greater impact in the pass rush next year.

Maybe some of you just don't understand this is not real life. So sorry if some of you got upset was just playing. That is the trouble with this board a lot of people take the posting on here like they are life and death things. I have been a Falcon Fan since 73 but good GOD after last season have finaly learnd to take all of this with a grain of sand.
Cam or phe
Putting Anderson at TE is a horibal idea. . . we should'nt have even drafted him. . . we should have traded up and got Safty LeRon Landry, but no we settled for ANDERSON. blah
