Tau Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 He was not the best tight end the Falcons have ever had. Jim Mitchell was the best. Alge was good. I think we always tend to chose the players we are most familar with. Jim Mitchell did it longer and was a more complete tight end. That said, Alge was a good tight end and as good as any of his peers over the course of a couple of years. So as we lavish Alge with compliments, lets not go overboard.
