Twinblade
One of these guys will be our first pick, each position can be replaced threw FA as well...I guess who we sign will make a impact on the draft. The only player I hate is Matt Ryan....yuckAs long as its between Dorsey/Ellis/McFadden I would be happy with the first round. falconfoozball
Not me. Of those, I'd be happy w/Dorsey or Ellis. (I'll add Long, but not to hijack the thread, just my opinion)
Crazy Trav
well long would be a good pick but i think there are other OT's that would be at the same level or better in the nfl, jake long is def a powerhouse but hes too slow with his feet, so im sure dimitroff will go with FA or 2nd round for a offensive lineman
Twinblade
Long would not be a great pick up, we need a LT, Long will be a RT in the nfl.
Rob
I don't like McFadden or Ryan. Niether one will be able to do anything with our crappy line. I think the best pick out of your 4 would be Dorsey. But I hope we take Jake Long!
Twinblade
McFadden would be a great pick up.

He is only good for about 6 carries a game. after that, he is likely to get injured.

You also get 2 elite RB's with a Power Runner as the 3rd. Norwood is best off as a KR anyways.

And I"d like to see him get a legitimate shot. W/this draft, we can pick up a decent RB w/out laying out the cash we'd probably have to lay out for DMC. For example... (looks down at sig...) Twinblade
Norwood is not a every down back, he can't be to trusted with his injurys that lurks him. Now just because we get Dmac don't mean Norwood wouldn't be the starter in 2008 and maybe 2009.
Crazy Trav
2 great rb's could be good but if teams really wanted mcfadden then we could draft him then mayb trade him like what philip rivers and eli manning did

Now just because we get Dmac don't mean Norwood wouldn't be the starter in 2008 and maybe 2009.He's not a KR either. He's a change of pace guy (See: Reggie Bush). He and McFadden would do fine together, but we won't know squat until after FA. NONE of us saw the Crumpler move coming...

And yes Norwood could be cut, but if he stays and I can't see any reason he should be gone, I feel he has grown into the starting role. I would like to see him start and become the every down back. FalconFan13
As long as it's not Ryan im cool with it. I would take Coutu in teh 1st over Ryan. Atleast i have confidence Coutu can get his job done when asked. My personal fav. picks would be Ellis, Dorsey, or Mendenhall. Followed secondly by Long, Clady, McFadden, Phillips. Crazy Trav
yea he def is a good rb, he was the fastest person at his combine and hes explosive while hes got full speed past the scrimmage, but ppl underrate him because of his size but he can be great if he can get some holes in the line
Twinblade
at least we can tell he don't roid up like most nfl stars....**** roids
g-dawg
don't want Ryandon't want McFaddenFalcons need one of the three:Jake Long, OT (1st choice)Glen Dorsey, DT (2nd choice)Sedrick Ellis, DT (3rd choice)orTrade Down.......McFadden is really starting to take some hits by some supposed experts....Mike Mayock does not like McFadden(not in his top 20 players!). Brian Baldinger is not a fan either. I like McFadden and he is a versatile guy but he is a "long strider" and has skinny legs. McFadden has great stiff-arm and very good speed - I just don't think he is in the class of LT or AD - and, to me, if he is not that good - then I don't want him with a "top 5" pick. Could be wrong - time will tell.....F

I wonder how many players took some kind of performance enhancement drug that was not steroids and got away with it. I take focus factor, does that mean I'm cheating life. cankles
I'd rather have Chris Long than Jake Long. JL is a good prospect but he's not the kind of freakish athlete that Joe Thomas is and I don't think can be an All-Pro blindside protector in the NFL. CL, on the other hand, will be a star in this league.
