Bring It
Perhaps the biggest play of this year's Super Bowl was made by a player named David Tyree. Remember the incredible catch made on top of his helmet ?? Four weeks ago no body ever heard of this guy. The Giants knew him though. They knew he was a team player who had guts and tons of desire..............for his TEAM.YOU CAN WIN without All Pro players. David Tyree proved to the world you can. Big Duke 6
Enough of the pointless comparisons to the giants or pats.We didnt have anybody go to the probowl this year......So?We should have won the superbowl?
Jimusmc
roddy shoulda been in the pro-bowl, but NFL hates the team.
bret coburn
I agree in a way but also completley disagree. You need those pro bowl caliber players, there is a reason why they are in the pro bowl and thats because they are the cream of the crop. David tyree is a different type of player, the solid dependable player that benifits from having pro bowl players around him. you need both, BUT i would absolutley take a pro bowler i.e randy moss or terrelle owens or chad johnson over david tyree

You might need some all-pros for the regular season, and the play-offs...and just not have any for the big game??

That was one of the worst statements I heard. David Tyree was the 3rd string tight end and did not much except for special teams. His TD in the Superbowl was the first he had all season. The Giants had no idea Tyree would play like that. Let's see how he plays next year or when Shockey returns if he goes back to special teams. Big mouth Shockey was not a factor late in the season, thru the unbelievable playoffs, and, of course, the Super Bowl. Guys like him poison the team chemistry. We will win without him on the roster. Period.

Not interested.Note : I wonder where T.O. and Chad -the ego- Johnson WATCHED the Super Bowl ?? I wonder why THEY were'nt in it ??

None of them were in the SuperBowl.
july425
Well, David Tyree was a pro-bowler in 2006.
goatehall
You won't see egomaniac Shockey poison the Giants team chemistry again. He's headed for Oakland..............a match made in heaven. The only thing you are right about was that it was a good catch. Don't care where Shockey GoesLook at some of the All time Great SB teamsBroncos - Shannon Sharpe49ers- Brent JonesCowboys- Jay NovacekPAckers- Keith Jackson & Mark ChemuraOld Giants- Mark BavaroThese teams have great tight end. not that it matters. The reason the Giants won was not b.c the tight end or the offense but b.c their defense play out of their mind and shut down the highest scoring offense in league history. The Giants also have a top notch receiver.

None of them were in the SuperBowl.I only replied to the original names YOU provided.Just remember one thing. Teams win as a TEAM, not with individuals. Kind of like Appalacian State over Michigan. You CAN win without the egomaniacs on bubblegum cards. As you can see I'm done with the worshipping of guys like Barry Bonds and Roger Clemmens. All they do is induce vommiting for poison victims. No longer interested. I guess that's why I find this new Falcon regime so refreshing. Sorry. Thanks for indulging me.
statz
Yes, you can win without pro bowlers but you can't win without playmakers. I see a total of 4 playmakers on this team. White, Hall, Boley, and Norwood.
