Jedi-Falcon
Every coaching regime he had a tendency to throw the dirty laundry to the press. Plus he has gotten too fat and slow, bad knees and bad hands. Plus we need his cap space.I think this was the best cut of them all.

Falcons Ace
Peyton Manning doesn't do well in big games, is like a statue in the pocket, and doesn't do well when under pressure. Besides, getting rid of him will free up cap space.
Mr. Offseason
i agree with the release of alge because he was getting 4.7 million, slowing down a bit, wasnt as involved in the offense as his high salary would indicate, we are rebuilding and he deserved a chance to win.yet, i disagree totally with you. alge did NOT run his mouth too much, YOU run your mouth too much. you are completely wrong with the first post in this thread, but that does not surprise me. in fact, all the reasons you mentioned for him being released are completely ignorant and possibly un-true. and if feeling animosity to the previous coaching regime was basis to be fired, then about everyone on the team should be released because everyone wanted to kill petrino even before he left, and im sure they were ready to after he did.
