bigpoon
Feb. 11: The Arizona Republic reports the Cardinals are expected to use their franchise tag on Karlos Dansby, committing as much as $8 million in salary to him if the sides cannot reach agreement on a long-term deal by July 15. According to the paper, Cardianls GM Rod Graves wouldn't confirm his plans to use the franchise tag, which Arizona hasn't used since 2002, when it tagged safety Kwamie Lassiter. NOW WHAT??????? He's a system player who fits in perfectly in Chicago, IMO.Not that I really care about Briggs, but we will be running the same system as Chicago... Not to mention with ZERO guaranteed! We traded for Lelie, so we dint overpay anything. We actually had him for about 700,000, which is also bargains for a starter.Price I agree......yuk.Hartwell actually signed here for less money than he was offered in Seattle though. Just a FYI.
