1st - Sedrick Ellis NT

Reason - Smith's defense is built around dominating DT's. OT, QB, RB, are all filled with Talent for later rounds where as NT isn't as much.

2A - Gosder Cherilus OT

Reason - Great OT with 1st round talent that luckily slips to the 2nd because of how many Good OT's their is in the draft.

2B - Joe Flacco QB Note: Henne is a Backup choice if Flacco is gone.

Reason - Big QB who has a Big Arm to go with it can make all the throws you would like a QB to make and is really smart with the ball. With the scheme we are going to Flacco's big arm will be a big asset.

3A - Jerod Mayo MLB

Reason - Played in the SEC against some great talent has good size and strength have seen him play UGA well to many times to know he's got talent.

3B - Kevin Smith RB - Kerney's Comp.

Reason - The kid has amazing talent and in most other drafts would be a 1st or 2nd round pick has great size, speed, and vision to carry the load at 6'1 212 pounds.

4th - Heath Benedict OG/OT

Reason - We need to come out of the Draft with 3 good lineman 2 OT's and 1 OG. Heath has all the tools to be a great player at the next level. Even if he doesn't end up starting he would be Depth that is really needed on the Falcons O-line at a few positions.

5th - Shannon Tavega OT/OG

Reason - The Falcons need as many talented O-lineman as we can get our hands on Tavega can play almost any position on the line and will be great depth for us and possibly saving us roster spots later on.

6th - Michael Grant FS

Reason - Secondary Depth and good ST player. Has good size and very solid closing speed to make a WR pay if he messes up.

7A - Brandon Coutu K

Reason - Everyone knows it's time to get a Kicker who can hit from 50+ Coutu is a fan favorite and has a monster leg with good accuracy.

7B - Jayson Foster WR/Returner

Reason - If anyone lives in Georgia they probably know this guy and know what kind of talent he has as a return man. If not they'll find out soon enough :)

I would go with something like that if it was me.

In FA we take

Max Starks OT

Grady Jackson DT

Karlos Dansby OLB

Trade With Broncos

Falcons Trade- 1st Round pick #4 (1800 points) & Kenan Forney

Falcons Receive- 1st Round pick #12 (1200 points) & 2nd Round Pick #42 (480 points) & 5th Round pick #132 (40 points)

Denver take this trade so they can get their hands on Sedrick Ellis

Points show that we lose out in this trade, as we get draft picks equivalent to 1720 points and we lose Forney, but personally I would take that trade as we need as may picks as possible!
