jdu00743
He has had a great career at Tennessee...This past year, the defense was pretty bad, but he has been DC since 1995 and has put together some amazing defenses.I think he would be a very good LB coach, and I would actually welcome this hire on both sides of the coin (I'm a Tennessee fan too) because I wouldn't mind getting some fresh blood to head up the D at Tennessee. Serge Storms
Vols had almost nothing on defense but linebackers last couple of years, so I can understand this.

Xnex
Maybe VanGorder can add to the number of jobs he's dumped by quitting as DC and asking to be considered as the LB coach.
Jerry Maguire
Oh well. I would have said for him to bring Mayo with him.

BayouFalFan
It does not surprise me that he is staying in Tennessee. He played there with PF. They both will have to tied up and drug out of town before they leave under their own free will.
jidady
Oh, thank God. We would have been so screwed if Chavis had left. I would have felt a lot better about the Falcons defense, though.
