Round 1) Dorsey or Ellis DT

We have all heard the reasons

Round 2a) Anthony Collins OT Kansas

Franchise OT available in the 2nd

Round 2b) Xavier Adibi OLB VT

Know we need a MLB but he s too good to pass up a SS in a LB body.

Round 3a) Dwight Lowry CB SDSU

Ballhawk top of the country in INT in 2006

Round 3b) Josh Johnson QB SD

Brass already said that whoever we drafted would sit why not get one of the most physically gifted QBs in the draft.

Round 4) Matt Forte RB Tulane

Compliments Norwood. Big back, great feet.

Round 5) Paul Hubbard WR Wisconsin

6'4 213 good speed, soft hands, and great leaping ability but he's still raw

Round 6) Curtis Johnson (Pass Rush Specialist) Clark Atlanta

or

Tommy Blake DE TCU

Worth the gamble at this point could pay off huge. Works for both of them.

Round 7a) Kerry Brown OG App St

Big Mauling 6-6 310 All American on the D AA National Champs

Round 7b) Alexis Serna K Org St.

Can make all the kicks. Only question is can he do kickoffs however we have Koenen for that.

Just hoping but we could end up with an extra compensation pick if not enough are awarded to teams for FA could be Mr. Irrelevant if so

7c) Glenn Sharpe CB Miami

Feel like hes a great end of the draft pick.

First of all, I think it might be a bit of an over statement to say that Josh Johnson is the most physically gifted QB in the draft. Secondly, I think the problem we have with waiting that long for a QB is there is a good chance another team could get him before us. IMO, we need to act on a QB atleast on the 1st say (which is now just the first 2 rounds).

Other than that, a decent mock.

Just looking at your draft, there are some good players there. But I don't think it's very realistic to have that many small school guys. Teams will take a chance on small school guys, but generally one team is not going to draft that many for a couple of reasons: 1.)they are more of a risk and 2.) they usually take longer to impact, due to a great increase in talent.

Not a bad draft. Love the Johnson pick alot, dont see the need to draft to CB, would rather put some dept on the Oline or Dline.

There are very few teams that couldn't benefit from some additional CB depth, and with the future of DHall on our team in doubt, having a replacement ready wouldn't hurt.
