hawkman
Absolute (2/4/2008)Scounting CombineThanks for the info. I was curious as to why they invited Dennis Dixon. I'm not sure he has fully recovered from his ACL surgery. But hey, anything can happen.
pren226
because they can still put you on a scale and measure you and put you in that egg thing they have. coaches can interview you and so on and so forth.
formul8or
No JAYSON FOSTER? You have to be kidding me! Runs a 4.28 and won the Walter Payton award for best I-AA player!I know he won't be a starting WR because of his size but I figured teams would look at him for a return specialist for sure with his moves. That makes it easier for the Falcons to pick him up as an undrafted free agent.

Not to mention his QB, RB, pass receiving skills. No 300 lb player will ever catch Jayson Foster. Very few 250 lb players can catch Jayson. We will see him in the NFL someplace. He could be someone's triple threat option. You can't gameplan for that type of ability.
Carter
hawkman (2/4/2008)Thanks for the info. I was curious as to why they invited Dennis Dixon. I'm not sure he has fully recovered from his ACL surgery. But hey, anything can happen.I'm curious about Dixon myself, but I suppose there are a number of things he can do at the combine... being there to take part in the premiere scouting event with what he CAN do right now would surely benefit him.He and Josh Johnson are the most interesting QB prospects in this draft to me. Flacco is also intriguing, but I think I'd put my money on DD or JJ being a better fit with this team.
