On 31 Dec 07 the Falcons resigned some of the players from the practice squad

LB Earl Everett

LB Cameron Vaughan

S CJ Gaddis

WR Todd Watkins

and on 8 jan 08 they signed DE Willie Evans (Saints)

BUT they did not resign

TE George Cooper

DL Kevin Huntley

I was most surpised by them not resigning Huntley since he bounced back and forth between the practice squad and the active roster about 3 times. Do anyone know why he was not resigned?

Also if they resigned these player with no GM or HC in place why haven't they signed or resigned others?

It takes a little while for a completely new staff to come in and make evaluations on every single player on the roster. You can't imagine how much practice film, and game film and interview film they are having to review. It just takes time. I'm sure though, that they have made a pretty big dent in it and we'll start seeing re-signings and the like by the end of Feb.
