77
By all accounts, If Huckabee had dropped out before the Flordia Primary, Romney would have won Flordia because the Vote that Huckabee carried in the Rural Northern Panhandle of the State would have went to Mitt Romney and now this small thing is happening in the polls all over the Super Tuesday States.......The True, Ripped to the Core, Christian Conservatives are all voting Huckabee, while the rest of the Base which ids themselves as Reglious Conservatives and Conservative Republicans who are also strong on Values and Social issues are Voting Romney.McCain seems to be picking up the Vast Majority of the Military Vote as well as the 65+ Vote, and Large numbers of independents and Liberals who are crossing over into the Republicans primaries to Vote for him. In Some ways it is a Mystery because the Republican Base can not stand McCain because of his many Liberal stances on the issues inculding Amansty for Illegal Aliens, and his teaming with Russ Fingold and Ted Kennedy two of the more Liberal Bluebloods if their ever was any.If McCain wins this Nomination, then I predict that the Republican party is going to be torn asunder for years to come and we will be welcoming either Obama Osama or Ms Hillary (Im ALL WOMAN) Clinton into the White house. That outcome would be downright dangerous for our nation. If Only The Huckster would drop out now, then the Vote going to him would put Romney who is a real Conservative over the top................................There is no way the Huckster could carry the General Election anyway so why is he staying in unless he has cut a under the table deal with McCain to make sure Romney does not get the Nomination.......Just something to think about. Ramen
Steve_Bartkowski (1/31/2008)77 (1/31/2008)Why is Huckabee still in this race ??????No the question is why is Romney still in the race... He should quit and endorse Huckabee so that a REAL conservative will win That's right. Huckabee never flip-flopped on abortion, gun control, and he has always been a strong Reagan supporter. If GOPers want a strong conservative on the ticket then they need to nominate someone who is truly a strong conservative, not some flip-flopper who panders to whomever his constituency happens to be at the moment.Goddam you 77! You made me agree with Steve on something.

77
The Facts are simple and clear and the liberal media have gotten all of you so confused you are spinning in circles.............We have to look to the General Election, winning primaries are simply showing your ability to stand among your own base but how would you stand in a national election ???? That is the question to be asked. And for all of his funny one liners and for all of his great stances on the facts of Chrisitainty and the Conservative values that are the foundation of our very country, then the Huckster is great..............But pit him against the whole liberal base and he would turn the liberal vote out like never before. And that is what the liberal media would love to see.Romney on the other hand may have changed a few postions but so did one of our Greatest Presidents Ronald Reagan if I do recall, Reagan spent his youth as a liberal in California but became more and more Conservative as the years went on and became one of our greatest leaders of all time.It is time for the Huckster to go back to Arkansaw, say a prayer or two for Bobby Petrino and let Romney defeat the Wolf in Sleeps clothing John McCain !!!!! malk2.0
It's funny hearing huckabee supporters act like hes such a conserveative. :laugh:There is only one true conserveative running right now and its ron paul.Huckabee isnt one, romney isnt one and mccain isnt one.Look at their voteing record and what they did in their state and you will see how they arent conserveative. They're all flip flopping candidates with no chance in **** to beat hillary or obama. But this country deserves whatever happens to them. Hillary or obama will become president.
