Dude how old are you?

you do realize that the real world doesn't work like Madden.

We minght have 10 to 15 million in the cap, and Shawn Rodgers alone would take that up.

Tenn has already said Hanesworth is not going anywhere.

Not to mention with that roster it means NONE of your draft picks made the team.

I think DHall and Crumpler get traded this year to free up cap space and head off problems. You don't have to worry about players accepting your coaching philosophy if they no longer play for you.

Lol.....yeah thats a GREAT IDEA....trade you most consistent receiver.....and your best CB....wow you have a great vision for this franchise......losing is in the future if you think that is what we should do......

Crumpler and consistant should not be used in the same sentance. He had more drops than anyone last year. He is starting to go downhill and look out of shape badly. Everyone that isn't a Falcons blind fan sees it.

A #1 corner is not necessary if we switch to the Tampa 2 style defense - Hall will be expendable. We would need a better safety instead.

BTW- to the original poster - why would you think Leftwich could be a starter on the Falcons again? He blew his chance last year. And how does DJ Shockley get ahead of Redman?

Oh - and the draft - did we just decide to pass on the draft? :)

Well, if that's the case with the Tampa 2, maybe you'd like to explain why Tampa has chosen to keep their Pro Bowl corner around year after year.

I don't care what the system is, Houston and Sanders as your CBs would be horrible.

Also the way you have Keith Brooking on MLB, NOOO, I want him to stay but not at that position any more, get him to OLB. We need a true MLB, Brooking deserves to play the position he can do best at. But over all, like one said before, Shaun Rodgers and Albert Haynesworth would bankrupt the team over the cap.

The only thing of which we can be certain is this is the way the roster will NOT be.

Barber is a good COVER corner - while Hall is a good MAN corner... huge difference. While I'm sure Hall would do good, he is going to want a huge paycheck that may be tough for the Falcons to fork over.

Houston will be a good #2 - Sanders is not so good... We would have to supplement another corner if we lost Hall surely... but fact is they let Kerney go because he wanted 80 million... so will Hall.

PK was coming off what appeared to be a major injury and was 30 years old... I think that would've played a huge part in why they let him walk, and at the time it seemed like the right move. As it turned out, he had a great year and had anyone known that would happen, we never would've let him go. The fact that he ended up dominating in Seattle has probably opened up the front office's eyes about letting star players go... especially much younger star players with no injury problems.

Usually only desperate teams re-sign players when they start demanding to get paid that top dollar amount... and it usually doesn not turn out good.

The best teams let overpaid whiners go, and rebuild through draft... look at the Colts... they release their top dollar RB - draft a rookie and win the SB.

If Hall would just stick to his contract and quit whining - I'd be happy to keep him here, but if demands 80million the Falcons would be fools to resign him.

Buffalo signed that FA 80million dollar CB and look how good they did....
