The numbers are somewhat similar, but ball control was everything. Jamal's size and power controlled games and the INT's and Sack totals are a bit higher. There are things to consider here as our QB's together had more yards than then, but two different receivers had high yard amounts. The PA was used after bulldozing Jam a few times up the middle. By the 4th quarter Jam would get all of his yards from wearing them down.

Stewart or Mendenhall. Bring in Musa Smith, Lamont Jordan, or Dominic Rhodes.

A guy like him may be special, but we have needs that include a guy like Mike Turner 5'10" 237lbs and pretty damned fast!!!

Legion, good thread, I think there are lessons to be learned.

1) Be able to control the clock with your offense. Keep the other team' offense

and your defense off the field.

2) Be able to move the chains in a hurry if necessary. (Running the 2 minute drill.)

3) Have a diversified and balanced Offense. Even within the passing game,

screens, short passes, stretch the field.

4) Special Teams really matter.

5) Pass protection. This was especially important back then to keep Chris Chandler healthy.

what we learned from the 1998 falcons is that you need a really fast, super hyped, athletic QB and that we can never win without YKW.

Oh...wait...
