I wonder when he get sacked by someone like Julius Peppers he'd be able to stand back up again. How fast do ambulance cars get out on the field usually?

Unfortunately for Brennan, there is plenty of video on him from the Sugar Bowl.

come on now, you can't really blame brennan for the sugar bowl. you can blame hawaii's god-awful o-line and UGA's dominating d-line. Brennan had players in the backfield about to hit him before he even caught the snap from shotgun.

i think if a team can give him 3 years as a backup he will be good in this league, but i can't fault the man for the sugar bowl.

I'm on the Colt Brennan wagon with you! All of the QBs in this draft are going to take time ot develop, but I think that Brennan and Dixon have the highest ceilings of any of the QBs, and they can be taken in rounds 3 or 4. If we use a 1st or 2nd pick on QB, we become financially tied to that QB. If we take Dixon/Brennan in the 3rd or 4th, and the coaching staff ends up not liking them in practice, etc., you can just take a QB high another year.

Colt is a system guy pure and simple. He may have a long NFL career--but so did Ty Detmer. The only team that can take a flyer on Colt would be a team that had a starter in place that's either immovable because of Salary cap reasons or because he's that good. In other words a team where Colt can sit, work out and learn the NFL game.

A wild card might be San Francisco. With Martz hired and Smith entrenched due to his cap number from the #1 overall status, they could grab Brennan with a 3rd and let Martz develop him. His quick release fits the Martz system best of all; and just like Bulger and Warner he'll put up great numbers for 2 years and then get his azz kicked so bad that he'll be out all the time.

Brennan will play in CFL! That or he will ride the bench for most of his career.

Please note that the site you're trying to get your argument from is a HAWAII site!

The arm strength thing is ********.

Montana did not have arm strength, Young did not have it, Tarkenton did not have it, Brees does not have it, Brady does not have it, Bob Griese did not have it and the list goes on.

Flacco stares down the receiver just waiting for the cornerback to pick off the ball from reading his eyes.

Brennan is the best choice out there.

Your homerism is almost trollish in nature.

He didn't look like he even belonged in the league as a backup.

Not only does he not have great arm strength but he's also small in stature, played against terrible competition, played in a gimmick offense, and in his chances to shine vs real competition he has been the least impressive player on the field.

Colt Brennan is the best quarterback pick for Atlanta.

You can spew all your unfounded criticisms you want, he had better stats then Flacco but you boys keep touting Flacco the interception machine.

Besides, you are the same people who said that I would be bowing at the statue of Bobby Petrino in Atlanta after he resurrected the team. All I can say is "Where is your God now?"

Arkansas if you must know.

If Atlanta management is smart they will draft Colt Brennan. Get on the winning side for a change.

Its kind of funny how you have consistantly changed your story.

When I was all over you about Colt Brennan, you told me just to wait until the Sugar Bowl.

After the Sugar Bowl, you told me to just wait until the Senior Bowl.

Well, he has been a total FLOP in both of those yet you are still trying to sell him to us all.

Sorry dude, the truth is that Colt just isn't an NFL QB. Thats the bottom line.

The sooner you get that through your head the sooner you can move on with your life and start getting better grades in your Jr. High Algebra class.
