BlacksburgHokie
I like it too. I think he's one of the more underrated D-coordinators in the league, and will make a very good head coach.

Guest stewie
I think it is a good hire. I would have leaned toward Spags, personally, but TD knows infinitely more than I do, so I will trust his judgment. Now it will be interesting to see who the coordinators will be. Bring in two great coordinators and we will be in business!
octoslash
If this rumor turns out to be true then I'm all for it, for two reasons:1. I've read his bio and from what I see, he's a qualified coach with lots of experience and more importantly, RESULTS.2. Any man with the stones to come up and tackle this train wreck of a team gets my immediate respect. Let's just hope he can convert those things to HEAD coaching success. Statick
I'm glad about this hiring three-fold:1. He's a defensive coordinator who put together a **** good defensive unit in J-Ville.2. We won't have to switch to a 3-4.3. He's a familiar face.Good hire, TD.

drneckbone
Only time will tell if this was the right hire.We have to admit that the FO has certainly taken its time.I too will still stand behind the team no matter who is Coach.Afterall If you could handle the Smith regime this is nothing. putnam6
I am too, solid hire plus he has been a DC for more than one year.I do think that we'll see a DT picked in the first(Ellis,Dorsey) unless a trade down happens. Now who is gonna be the OC and DC that's going to be significant as well.Let's face with how everything went down with you know who,Mora would have likely still been here if he would have got rid of Knapp.Let's hope they can coach/teach/motivate the current roster to be atleast a respectable team.
