All we need to do is give Marty the job, he can bring in Cameron, and Rivera. These guys have good chemistry and know how to hand to ball to a work horse. If we put this bunch on the payroll, I'd be glad to draft RunDMC. We could then pick up Flacco in the 2nd round, ala Drew Brees and wow doesn't this all sound familiar? Hmmm.

Normally I would agree with a long term strategy. The problem is right now that no long term candidate is going to be interested in the job. We need a guy to come in and put the train back on the track. Just get things going in the right direction, the right way. Marty can do that. That will buy time for guys like Singletary to get some experience. Yes, he may get another job by then but it's a chance we are going to have to take. We need a guy that can unify the locker room, put Vick behind us and find a way to win ugly football games. That's Marty Ball. As for winning in the postseason, Marty didn't tell Byner to fumble on the one against the Broncos. He didn't have anything to do with that ridiculous interception and fumble it back to the Patriots play either. Saying he can't win in the postseason is like saying Roy Williams couldn't win the big one until he got to North Carolina. While entirely true, it wasn't from a lack of coaching expertise. Just plain bad luck.
