Corsair
TBO reports that Kiffin has re-signed with Buccaneershttp://www.tboblogs.com/index.php/sp...ing-with-bucs/You can stop worrying about losing Monte Kiffin to another team.Kiffin has agreed to terms on a new contract with the Bucs that will probably pay in the area of $2 million a year for at least the next two years.News of the agreement came despite reports claiming the Bucs had lowballed Kiffin on a contract offer. However, Kiffin s agent, Jimmy Sexton, told the Tribune that those reports were inaccurate. That s not true, Sexton said. We should have something on it in a day or so. The agreement came at a time when Kiffin also was being pursued by the Atlanta Falcons. Kiffin was in line to become the Falcons defensive coordinator had Pete Carroll accepted Atlanta s head coaching job. Even after Carroll declied that position, the Falcons remained interested in Kiffin and were contemplating signing him before hiring a head coach. But it was nice to dream awhile all the same. He's about the only thing in that organization that I would want here.

LMAOAre you suggesting that Monte still might be coming to Atlanta?Honestly,Aren't yall tired of Monte saving Gruden's job every year.Luckily, as long as he is El Capitan of the Pewter Fleet, we don't have to worry about a true powerhouse taking over the division. Just an occasional pretender from the Bay who pulls a one and done.
