kjc34
The Tennessee Titans fired offensive coordinator Norm Chow after three seasons with the team, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported Tuesday. The Titans finished the regular season 10-6 and suffered a 17-6 loss to the San Diego Chargers in the first round of the playoffs. They finished 10th in the AFC in total yards.Chow, who was previously the offensive coordinator at USC, was interviewed for UCLA's head coach opening in December but withdrew his name from consideration. The Bruins went on to hire Rick Neuheisel.my apologies to all, link challenged i be
Jim Caldwell
He would be a good fit - he has always been highly regarded - I wonder why Titans fired him? They should fire Vince Young instead.
1989Fan
yeah fire Chow because he cant turn ##### into gold (meaning Vince Young). Young is crap. We will get to hear the same excuses we did for Vick for another 2 years. Difference is Vick was MUCH better, and didnt have one of the best OLs in the NFL like Young does. I wouldnt be suprised to see TEN grab a QB in round 2 or 3 just to get ready for when they let Young go after another year or two of failure. fideltom
Chow would be a good choice for us lots of experience and he seems to have got the blame for Young being a sub-par Vick, id actually be very pleased with him as our OC

Don't underrate him yet. I'm still looking to see how he'll fair in later years along with Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers (is he available yet?) I'm guessing Chow got fired because he spoke up and said Young isn't getting it and isn't going to get it. I'm sure he was tired of trying to push football knowledge into Young's big coconut head.me too. all of the analyst said he had michael vick speed and scrambling ability...basically he would be mike vick 6 foot 5. i dont think he is even cloooose to the speed vick has/had. to top it off he throws side arm which is a minus. young was overrated but he probably does help sell tickets in tenn.
