What happened to Mike Singletary?

Cowher, Holmgren, Gruden, Dungy, Reid, Bellecheck (SP). What's your point?

I thought it was self-evident. Just because teams aren't rushing to interview a particular candidate doesn't mean that coach won't be a good head coach. Teams are wrong all of the time on guys who have impressive resumes.

I heard the word is that Mike hasn't paid his dues yet in the view of insiders, having only been coaching for 5 years and never having been an OC or DC. The word also is that he will be a HC sooner rather than later, just not in '08 and not in Atlanta. Everybody knows that Blank was very impressed with Singletary when he interviewed him and before he (bLANK), bent to McKay's wishes for Pigtrino.

I think it's most unfortunate if he's not on Dimitroff's short list, as I truly believe Mike will become an excellent HC for somebody. That's just what I believe and will continue to believe, so don't anyone waste their time flaming me.:P

Yeah, when you LOOK like Singletary there's a different set dues to pay, meanwhile other non qualified coaches' sons who NEVER been an OC or DC are being sized up to take over for there dads. There are too many non-qualfied people who DON'T LOOK like Singletary getting jobs left and right for me to buy that "hadn't paid his dues" b.s. Singletary will probably will kiss enough azz, roll over, fetch, and play dead to be an HC by the time he's 93.

But yet, espn and some idiots that think Garrett is ready to be a nfl head coach, isn't this ##### funny.

Well he does have quite the lengthy resume for a coach:

1. Miami QB coach 2005-2006

2. Dallas Offensive Coordinator 2007

Wow. This guy must be a coaching prodigy to get head coaching consideration after 3 years of coaching experience.

You've got to be kidding me.
