I don't see Rice being that good of an NFL player. He is 5'9 and runs in the 4.5 range, which is a bad combination. He and Mike Hart won't last long in the league.

I think he will....he will be a Maurice Jones-Drew type running back...he have that lower center of gravity thing going on and he runs a 4.4 bruh.....

his bowl game....he rushed for 35 Rush, 280 yds 4 TDs

That was against Ball State and I really doubt he runs a 4.4. Every major draft publication has him in the 4.5 range, and none the less he isn't quick enough for his size. He and Mike Hart are one in the same, even though I would put Rice just above Hart.

2008 NFL RB Class is STACKED.

No reason to take McFadden, take O-Line or D-Line, and pick up a quality RB in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Just make sure 5th round, we take Georgia Kicker Brandon Coutou

yeah i agree. i hope we take jamaal charles.

IMO Rice won't be a first day pick. He may struggle to run even a 4.55 forty, and IMO there are plenty of backs in this draft that have a good combo of power + speed.

funny, i may just have to put that in my sig

why?

because its a pretty asinine comment

What is? About him not being a first day pick (rounds 1-2)? About his forty-time? Or about there being other backs with good power and speed?

Let's take a good look at this, to see who the real dumb ##### is. First comment of mine was Ray Rice IMO won't be a first day pick. Being Canadian, you probably didn't know that the first day of the draft, is now only the first 2 rounds. With RBs like McFadden, Stewart, Mendenhall, Charles, Felix Jones, Mike Hart, Tashard Choice, Chris Johnson, etc. etc., there is a great chance I'm right about that one.

To my second comment. "I think Rice may struggle to even run a 4.55 forty." If you had watched Rice in college, you would know that speed is not even close to being his strength. He is a short, powerful back. By no means does he have great speed. He lacks "edge" speed, which will almost certainly hurt his draft stock. (See paragraph 1).

To my third comment. "There are plenty of backs in this draft with good speed + power. Mcfadden, Stewart, Mendenhall, Charles, Chris Johnson, Forte, Little, Allen Patrick, etc. All of these guys have both strength/size, and speed (something Rice doesn't have).

Because you refused to support your reasoning as to how my comments were assinine, shows me you know nothing about Ray Rice, and should never be able to post anything draft related, or football related for that matter.
