fsutennis
Who thinks Emmitt Thomas is the right person to lead the Falcons. I do. He would restore class and would have the Falcons playing traditional, hard nosed football. Have you ever seen the Falcons play harder for anyone other than Dan Reeves than they did for Coach Thomas the last two games? He obviously made great halftgime adjustments as well. formul8or
I like how he has handled things, but as previously stated he said he didn't want to be a head coach.
michaelgee
Emmitt is a wondeful man, just not a Head Coach for our future/start

Absolute
fsutennis (1/7/2008)Why do the players from VT behave so poorly?Well, like I said...since he said he didn't want the job...I don't see him being considered.Cool?
fsutennis
Cool. It just shows you his leadership ability. He even had D Hall return kicks and play unselfish football. If he doesn't want the job then that is too bad. If he did want the job, would you want him to coach?
Statick
Emmitt has already said he doesn't want the job.Smart man.

If he did want the job, would you want him to coach?I think if he was a tad bit younger, he would be perfect fit for us but I think Blank is trying to do what the Steelers did and have a young coach grow with this organization. We'll see though.
calfalconfanatic
If that is the extent of your reasoning then I'd just as soon bring Dan back.
