SpikeSpiegel
yea I agree we don't need a WR...but if we can pick him in the 2nd day or late in the first...he would be a steal.as for the Temple and Long...that would be sick! , I hope AB sees this as I do
JRob215
Tony Temple suffers from the same thing Mike Hart/Ray Rice do: he is small and has only average speed. Not many guys 5'9 and shorter make it in the NFL, unless they run at least in the 4.4 range.According to NFL Draft Scout he is the 39th rated RB in this years class, so he should be an undrafted FA if that is correct. phocis850
Yep, no need for WR'sI think Robinson will be a stud this year.

He's listed at 5'9" which is a little shorter than you would like. And, if that's a stretch, like most college measurements, then he's going to be really short. His play, prior to Arkansas, was very inconsistent. When playing solid bowl worthy teams, he was averaging just over 2 ypc.Illinois 1.9 ypcNebraska -0.7 ypc (yes that is a negative average)Colorado 2.7 ypcOklahoma 2.0 ypcHis most impressive game against a quality team was against Kansas when he gained 98 yards on 22 carries (4.5 ypc).It took his monster game against Arkansas to finally break 1000 yards on the season. He's a day 2 pick that might become a decent backup IMO. cyofish
So where was Tony Temple the rest of the year?He wasn't touch for 80% of those yards, not because of the blazing speed and elusive moves but because the OL was opening holes wide enough for a tractor trailer. You could have put a Div III RB behind that OL and they would have ran for 200+ yards. Temple would probably be a 2nd day drat choice or a FA. A lot of good college RB's dont get drafted every year and then go on to do nothing as UDFA.
SpikeSpiegel
well all this says to me is we can sign him for a cheap price loland as far as the WR goes...if he can come at a cheap price it never hurts to have some depth
loozianafalcon
Ok, so you're basing our drafting these guys soley on their performance in 1 bowl game? I haven't even heard Temple mentioned in the top RBs all year. If we desire a power running game next season, then Stewart (Oregon) or even Forte' (Tulane) might be a better choice.
