savwboy9
USC was the last team when they clownstomped Oklahoma..I just cannot take any of these teams and give them the title of champion.I guess the best thing the BCS can hope for is for OSU to win , if not , it is clouded once again..No one can say who is the better out of USC , UGA and LSU .This system is a joke and something needs to be done..USCfalcons , call them clowns on the Rosebowl commitee and tell them to stop holding out on a playoff..Not a soul here cares how much money they will lose

A playoff system would ruin that.
RedandBlack4Life!
This year was proof that system is still flawed, and will continue to be flawed until we have a 4/5 team playoff or maybe even a +1 game, I dunno, but the current system is not working. That's a once and a lifetime opportunity.Exactly. Any system that puts so much weight on where you start the season (before a single **** game is played) is flawed. And I don't get the money/greed argument. Say you go to an 8 team playoff, using all the current BCS bowls plus 2 extra games. That is MORE revenue. Those playoff games will generate a ton of excitement. I would wager that viewership would increase. And the "that'd be too many games" argument wouldn't work either. 2 teams would play 1 extra game, 2 teams would play 2 extra. That's it.1. Ohio State vs. Kansas2. LSU vs. USC3. VA Tech vs. Missouri4. GEORGIAfan
Make the BCS games playoff games. and we would just need 2 extra games a season. have the semi finals, then the nat champ game. it would fix the problem of needing a playoff, and we wouldnt have to worry about messing up the BCS, or making the games worthless. Same sponsors.BCS polls determine. The issues you mention already exist in the current system. This just assures that the 8 best (or at the very least, 8 of the best and the best of the best) all get a shot. Those smaller conferences don't have shyte for a chance now...at least in the new system it would be feasible for one to get in the top 8. The two many games excuses is the most pathetic arguement I have ever heard. Fanboy just put an easy solution to the problem. The point of competition is to put the best system in place to find out the best team for that year. There is no legit arguement for CFB not needing a playoff system. Demetrius Dew
But you just contradicted your argument..No I didn't I just stated the reason Pollster didn't vote for Auburn #2 or to play in the National Championship game, it is a sad situation I agree but one that does not happen often at all.
