LT over vick was smart, because chris had a year or 2 left, but jamaal had just got taken out for his career, so we needed a RB.

also matt ryan fans are dumb, because the dude makes poor decisions. how the heck do you support a guy who doesnt even have a 2-1 TD int ratio. **** colt sucks, and he is in a run and shoot offense, but he has a better TD int ratio.

LT over vick would have been the right way to go obviously.

Best RB ever.

How many playoff games have the Chargers won with LT?

while we are asking silly questions, who has a higher career passer rating?

LT.

Who has a higher YPC ?

EEEWWW, Matt Ryan is no answer to any problem the Falcons have. I have not been impressed, and a QB who needs work in our offense would be a disaster.

I think I will boycott the birds next year if we pick up a QB with our first pick. There is not a single QB worthy of that pick and that much money.

who has had back to back winning seasons?

Both. The Falcons have never had back to back winning season though.

how can it be both if the falcons have never had back to back winning seasons?? that goes to LT

now im not going to crown LT, but we needed a RB more than a QB chris had a few years left, and we could have used a 2nd/ 3rd for a qb or got a QB next year.

zero. And if LT and the chargers loses to Vince and the Titans, LT is going to be very UPSET! Last year, he was 'crying mad' when they lost last year..:hehe:

Look at the games Vick played in. Vick started 15 games in 05, he was 8-7 in those games. The Falcons finished 8-8. In 04, he led the team to a 11-5 record. That's back to back winning seasons for him.

Technically, Vick has 3... In 02 he had a winning record, in 03 he was 3-1 as the starter, and in 04 he had a winning record... The TEAM doesn't, but Vick did. He didn't play the majority of 03, so you can't count the teams poor play against him, just as you cant this years 4-12, but I digress.

As an individual, Vick had 3 straight winning seasons if only counting the games he started.

so if the criteria of who is better is who won more playoff games then does that make trent dilfer better then vick? what about brad johnson? rex grossman? jake plummer?

Nope. Trent Dilfer and the other QBs rode the coat tails of the D. The criteria of whose better goes by impact on the team. Playoff wins is a criteria of a player impact. Vick has obvious had a bigger impact on the Falcons than LT has had on the Chargers. Look at the Falcons playoff wins in 30 years before Vick and look at them in the 7 years with Vick. They are about the same.

based on what? considering the falcons had the same number of playoff berths, division championships, playoff wins, and one more conference championship in the 6 seasons before vick vs the 6 seasons with vick?

LT has done alot more for the chargers. they are relevant every year and will be for awhile. Vick may never wear a football uniform again.

THe Chargers had more playoff wins without LT than with him. That's a fact. In the 30 something years without Vick, the Falcons have close to the same number of playoff wins they had with him through 7 years. Before Vick, the dome didn;t sell out. Before Vick, no national tv games. So I guess all of a sudden the Falcons were relevant without Vick? Riiiiiighhhhhhhhtttt. Don't even lie to yourself.

LT is going to canton. Vick isn't.

Vick shoes are already there.

Michael Vick of the Atlanta Falcons rushed for a quarterback record 173 yards in the Falcons' 30-24 overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings on December 1, 2002. He capped the day with his second rushing touchdown of the game that came on an incredible 46-yard run in the sudden-death period. That was the longest TD run ever by a quarterback in overtime.

Vick, in his second NFL season at the time, also eclipsed the league mark held by Hall of Famer Marion Motley. By amassing his record total on just 10 carries, Vick's single-game average of 17.3 yards-per-carry (minimum 10 carries) topped that of Motley's 17.09 average. The Browns fullback rushed for 188 yards on 11 carries against the Pittsburgh Steelers on October 29, 1950.

The shoes that Vick wore during that historical moment are preserved in the archives at the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

:hehe::hehe:

who said anything about the falcons now? vick left the falcons high and dry, LT is running his team into the playoffs again.

LT sets the nfl rushing td records, wins mvps, is considered by many to be the best in the game now and possibly the best all time. Vick.... well we did win 11 games with him once.

So if Vick leaves and the Falcons collapse, what does that tell you? I doubt if Lt went down, the Chargers would be as pitiful.
