posterboyjsb
Long in the 1st and Henne in the second. It makes sense being that Long already knows Henne's tendecies when on the field. Feedback?
Big Duke 6
They looked good today.Long might be reaching with our 1st but I like both guys.
markymark7478
Haven't seen much of Michigan this year but Henne did look good today. I just have to wonder what side Long will project to in the NFL. It would be difficult to say that we pay him all that money and a high draft pick if he is a RT. Ibis1
Michigan QB's tend to do well in the NFL. I am not against taking a serious look at him. Long will most likely be gone by the time we pick but if he is the best on the board when we pick, he is a must have.
BlacksburgHokie
Long would be my pick in the first round.I'm not quite as sold on Henne as you are. I believe he should have been able to get more production out of the talent that was around him. He could develop into a very good NFL QB, but in my opinion he regressed somewhat this year from where he was his junior year.
posterboyjsb
He played hurt the whole season when he did play. I think he missed a couple of games too. I watched huim all season and he showed better than most being hurt, plus he was a 4 year starter.
UGA_DAWG46
I would be really happy with those picks.

loozianafalcon
I enjoyed watching Long yesterday -- he plays until the whistle! Henne looked really sharp, too.
drk_nte
loozianafalcon (1/2/2008)I enjoyed watching Long yesterday -- he plays until the whistle! Henne looked really sharp, too.And sometimes after I guess that would be a do-able option, it's not like we have Ohio State on our schedule (or App St.). JDaveG
Either great minds think alike or we're the same kind of stupid, because I just posted that very suggestion in the other Jake Long thread.I think Henne would be a great value in the 2nd round. He's been solid his whole career, has a great arm and seems to make good decisions. Plus he could sit behind Redman for a year or two and absorb the game before having to go out as the savior of the franchise (as any top-5 first rounder would almost have to do).
