dirtybird7181
Atlanta Falcons - Please spend a 4th round draft pick on Brandon Coutou and solidify our FG kicking situation for the next 10-15 years.

cstyle4200
I AM GLAD THAT NONE OF U GUYS ARE IN CHARGE OF DRAFTING PLAYERS O MY GOD 4 ROUND OR EVEN 6 ROUND IS LUDACRIS BESIDES A KICKER IS THE LEAST OF OUR NEEDS
falconawesome
Agreed-I say spend a 4th pref 5th -I would love for us to draft an expected starter with a 5th round pick. We do not need another kicking debacle next year. I know-I love Mort too but he is good from 47 1/3 yds max and his leg is only getting older. xFalconLord
Good kickers go in the 4th and 5th rounds consistently. Some have gone in the 3rd round as well. I would feel like we stole Coutu if we were able to draft him in round 5. I am a Tech fan, but this kid can really kick. Its nice to see him connect on that field turf! Pick_6
With our kicking game I'd be happy if we took him in the 4th. After last year's draft I think I would rather now pick early than miss out late.
isproab
He suprised me. I thought after last years big injury that his leg may have lost some of its strength. I also saw him pull his hammy again against Tech and thought maybe he is too injury prone. The 52 yarder last night would have been good from 62. That thing hit the net. Being UGA alumni I would love to see him on the team. There are others kickers I would take as well.Taylor Mehlhaff - WisconsinTravis Bell - Georgia TechSerna - Oregon State
Fanboy3000
I'm back on the draft Coutu bandwagon. His leg didn't look nearly as strong for most of this season, and I thought he'd never get back to pre-surgery strength. I was wrong. Bring him home....um....mmkay! direwolf
I'd be okay with Coutu in the sixth. I think we've got an extra sixth or seventh anyways from the Rossum trade, so we might as well invest it in a kicker. The thing that worries me is that he's not always the most accurate. 50% from more than 50 yards. Now, I know that it's rare to find a kicker who can consistently hit from that distance, but still...Direwolf

I dunno; maybe I'm a bit strict on that count. Still, with a third or fourth, we could get some players who will impact the team on every play and still get a solid kicker in the sixth.Direwolf

That's insane though, there is no kicker in this draft worth a pick that high. I agree with you about a kicker in the 6th though, Coutu should be available then.
