Jrock
I like Chase Daniel from Mizzo. Smart, sneaky fast, strong arm, and a very atheletic QB. We already have D.J. Shockley, even though he is unproven, but looked good in the preseason, and has been in the system going into year 3. I say, if Chase is there in the 2nd, get him, and we can go elsewhere on other drastic needs with the rest of the picks. I just hate drafting a QB in the first round, especially this year. 14falcons
Chase is cool. So is Colt. But we do not need to draft a quarterback.Linemen!

Dem Birds
Shockley hasn't been in the same system EITHER year he's been here and won't be this year. Chase Daniel is very small, that is a concern, smaller than Vick is if my memory serves me. 2nd round may be too high for him.
Jrock
Chase is listed at 6'2''. Vick was only 6'0'' . Also, Shockley will have 3 years of experience under his belt is the overall idea of my statement. Regardless of any system, any starting caliber QB should understand how to read defenses, and operate an offense by year 3. Although there may be struggles down the line, 3 years is the turning point for any QB in the NFL.
millenium falcon
he is a jr and said he will be back next year. actually he said "hopefully" he will be back next year but he meant hopefully he will be back in new york as a heisman finalist, which clearly means he intends to play his sr year. celtiksage
He'll probably be about the 4th best QB coming out next year after Harrell and after Tebow declares. celtik

I've seen him and I've heard commentators comment on his size and what his is listed at. Daniels has submitted his papers to the NFL to see where he may be drafted so he is interested if he thinks he would have a good position. thaflameofatlanta
14falcons (1/1/2008)Chase is cool. So is Colt. But we do not need to draft a quarterback.Linemen!Agreed. We don't really need to draft a QB until late. Our line needs revamping in the worst way.
dyoshot
2nd round? No way! 4th or 5th if that would be the correct value. It's a moot point anyway since he's coming back to Missouri.
