51FALCON
He is overrated and should be cut. If you have watched the Falcons at all you would see him burnt time after time. This is fact. Add in his loud mouth, there is no reason to keep him.

Skoal Brother
I was at the game today just behind the Falcons bench when a "fan" walked down to the railing and began berating D-Hall while holding up a sign that said Shut up 21.I have to say it was a pretty weird situation. The fan went back to his seat and was promptly asked to follow Dome security and ATL police "somewhere" away from the playing field. Later in the third quarter the fan was causing another commotion and was escorted away again. Very strange

UGA Homers LOVE Van Gomer
Why do I have the feeling that the people that are sooo **** bent on getting rid of DeAngelo were some of Petrino's biggest supporters?

51FALCON
I am having touble understanding how any of you can say Deangelo is any where the shut down corner Deion was. Sanders could not tackle for crap, but he could cover. Hall is no where near that..

FalconsFor6
The problem is that you agreed that he should be cut, not traded...If the Falcons are capable of improving in the process of getting rid of Hall then I'm for it, but the problem is that it is not likely...Hall is not only young, but he's extremely talented and plays a premium position. With all those factors in play the chances of the team improving with his departure is slim to nil, but you want to get rid of him just because YOU don't like him...Add to that this his departure only adds a need to a team that already has a roster full of holes. Who are you going to replace him with? We already need EVERY ONE of the draft picks we have in the upcoming draft...Let me tip you to something...Decisions made because of emotions usually aren't good ones... Note: Hall plays much better in press coverage than a soft zone! P.S. If he wasn't here who would we replace him with??????.....Lewis Sanders????
51FALCON
Are you people not watching the same games I am. Deangelo is not doing his job period. He is not a good cornerback. He is good at tackling but that is after the fact.

No you don't because you just hate Hall for some reason and want him gone. Even if you were a fan of this team you would at least want to trade him to get something in return instead of cutting him. Troll.

Falcons Ace
DeAngelo Hall is one of the most productive CBs in the NFC, and Top 10 in the entire NFL. But yeah, since the refs obviously gave him two penalties that SHOULD NOT have been called and he gets burned less than Champ Bailey we should cut him. The sound of Lewis Sanders and Chris Houston will truely strike fear into opposing offensive passing games.:hehe:

Somebody finally mentioned it. Sanders was a physical corner. That wouldn't fly in today's NFL. He probably could've adjusted due to his athleticism, but he would probably look a lot like, you guessed it, D. Hall.

He is not a good cornerback. He is good at tackling but that is after the fact.I admit I haven't checked lately, but the last time I did check he was top 10 in passes defended and INT in the NFL...He was top 5 in the NFC...Now all CBs get burnt from time to time, thats the nature of the position, but you're talking about CUTTING one of the best players on this entire team...Even discussing the idea of cutting Hall is void of intelligence in itself... 51FALCON
I am sorry do not focus on the big mouth. On so many passes I cannot even count Hall is there to make the tackle. This is the same as Scott Case. So many thought he was great because he was there to make the great hit. I would rather both of them prevent the completion.
