Could the Kearney probowl get us a 3rd round compensatory pick?

Draftnut57,

I don't fault the front office a bit. Patrick Kearney voided the remainder

of his contract, but he timed it to avoid the franchise tag.

He was looking for a huge payday that he got, but with which we couldn't

have matched with our limited cap resource. With other teams having

over $30 million in cap space.

I understand that , It still don't ease the pain , especially when all the money we had in Vick freed up not long after he left . Everything went bassakerds this year. As my dad used to say.:)

Nice... 5 picks on the 1st day. I can live with that. The only player I am really concerned with locking up on the 2nd day is either Alexis Serna or Art Carmody. There are a couple other guys in the 2nd day that I'm looking at, but one of those guys should be an absolute lock for us.
